Movie Night

(Zayn's POV)

I was shocked at what Jessica dared me to do. Both Marinette and Adrien were staring at her with their mouths wide agape. It was finally happening! The girl I have been crushing on for 2 months asked me to be her boyfriend!

Me: Ok, I accept your dare.

Jessica: That was not a question; it was a dare!

I reached the plate for one more croissant to realise that the plate was empty.

Jessica: How about we watch a movie? Say... horror?

She really gets me! I love horror!

Marinette: Sure, we'll watch on my computer! How about the movie 'Joker'? I have the movie downloaded.

Adrien: Ok, but it is 9pm now and I must leave at 10pm.

Adrien and I helped to move her side bed close to Marinette's computer. Marinette and I sat at the corner and Jessica sat beside me and Adrien sat beside Marinette. Jessica placed both her legs on my lap, and I raised an eyebrow at eye.

Jessica: What? I'm your girlfriend now. This is normal!

Wow, this is really happening! I'm so excited, but I hid my goofy grin to keep my cool.

Marinette: I'm going down to get us some popcorn to watch the movie. I will murder anyone who touches the play button!

Adrien: Wow! Harsh!

Adrien was looking around in Marinette's room. Jessica was staring at her phone. I was feeling very bored. I couldn't wait to watch the movie! It felt like Marinette was taking forever. Finally, I heard the door open and saw Marinette coming in with a bowl full of popcorn. She sat on the side bed and switched on the movie. The movie was very interesting, but after about an hour I felt Jessica tapping my shoulder. She gestured towards Marinette and Adrien. They dozed off and Marinette was cuddling Adrien. They really do make a good couple.

Me: Wait! Its 10:30pm already! I was supposed to leave with Adrien at 10pm! Mr Agreste is going to be so mad at me!

Jessica: Oh please, Adrien is like your little brother. Do want to wake your brother from his sleep?

Jessica makes a good point. I guess I can explain to Mr Agreste that we were watching a movie and he dozed off and I didn't want to wake him up. He will understand, hopefully.

Slowly, I was feeling tired and I dozed off.

(Jessica's POV)

Suddenly, I felt something land on my shoulder. I turned to see Zayn on my shoulder, sleeping. He looked so cute! Noticing that everyone was asleep, I paused the movie, turned off Marinette's computer and sat back at the side bed, listening to music. Then, I felt my eyes getting heavy.

(Time skip to the next morning)(Marinette's POV)

I woke up to the sound of something roaring. I realised Adrien's head was on my shoulder, snoring softly. Realising the position that I was in, I jerked away, making Adrien's head land on Jessica's shoulder.

Jessica: Thanks a lot, Marinette!

I stood up to see both Zayn's and Adrien's heads on both of Jessica's shoulders.

Me: Sorry, I'll wake Adrien up.

Jessica: Nah, it's fine, I got this... GET UP!!

Jessica's scream made both the boys jump from the side bed and land on the floor.

Zayn and Adrien: Aw, Jessica, did you really have to do that?

Jessica: I don't like people who annoy me.

Then, we all got a news flash on our phones.

News reader (Nadia Chamack): We are seeing The Pharoah on the streets again who has the Ladyblog's reporter, Alya Cesaire. We are waiting for you, Ladybug!

Oh no! Alya is in trouble! I need to transform and go save her! I got to think of a good excuse to leave.

Adrien: Oh no! Its morning! I promised my dad I'll be there by 10pm last night. He gave me 16 missed calls! He is going to be so mad at me!

Zayn: Relax, little man, I'll handle your dad!

Jessica: Correction; he will try to handle your dad!

Adrien: Anyway, I will leave now. Don't want to make my dad even madder!

Marinette: I need to go take a shower. You know, wash that hair, wear some clean, new clothes... I'll be going now!

Jessica: I will go too! I am very sure that my parents are going to be very mad too! Anyway, bye guys!

Marinette (in her bathroom): Tikki, spots on!

Adrien (hiding behind the bakery): Plagg, claws in!

Jessica (from an alley down the street): Deni, fangs out!
