Chapter 6- 𝔴𝔥𝔞𝔱 𝔞 𝔟𝔦𝔤 𝔰𝔲𝔯𝔭𝔯𝔦𝔰𝔢

I just got in my car and started driving to another event that me and Gaonha are invited to.

It's actually a great thing that I have a lot of events that filled up my schedule this week, at least I have something to distract me from all the shit I've done.

After 30 mins I finally got to the venue and I see Gaonha standing by the entrance obviously waiting for me.

"How long have you waited?" I asked as I got out of the car and had someone to park it for me.

"A few minutes" she answered, "so what were you gonna tell me?" Gaonha asked.

We both entered and I see a lot of people, "it's actually complicated" I answered.

"Tell me about it"

"I moaned Maihua's name while having sex with Chris" I whispered and Gaonha almost spit out the champagne that she just sipped a second ago.

"You're one crazy bitch"

"I don't know where Chris is and I don't know what to do"

"Did you break up with him?"

"I don't know what we are anymore and now that Maihua is back everything is just complicated"

"Let me guess, you cheated on Chris"

My jaw dropped when I heard the word cheated. I don't wanna call it that because I never imagined myself cheating on a person but now I'm just guilty.

"I didn't mean it" I tried to reason.

"The only thing you can do now is not turn around" Gaonha said but I still turned around and I see Maihua enter.

I quickly shifted back to Gaonha, "I told you not to look" she said.

"You could have said Maihua's here don't turn around and probably I wouldn't turn around" I answered and she just rolled her eyes.

"Hey ladies" a girl that came up beside me and obviously it's Maihua.

"You know what, I think I need to get some air" Gaonha said and walked away from me.

"What do you want?" I asked as I faced Maihua.

"You" Maihua answered, "and I'm not gonna stop until I get you back"

"Look Maihua I love you but I don't wanna cheat on Chris"

"You already did" she said which made me roll my eyes. She didn't have to justify it, I know it already and it makes me feel ashamed.

"Fine just give me time to talk to Chris Maihua" I said and she nodded.

"So.... don't you have stories from when you were gone?" I asked as we started walking around.

"I already told you what happened"

"Yeah with your uncle but you know how about girls?"

"Are you jealous?"

"Do I have a reason to be?"

"I'm not the one here who got a boyfriend" Maihua said, I held her hand and I just know she's hurt.

"I'm sorry, I should have waited for you but I was just scared that I might be waiting for nothing" I said

"but I still love you" I added to assure Maihua.

"Glad my STEP sisters are okay now" Gaonha said as she popped up out of nowhere.

"Why are you emphasizing the step?" Maihua asked and Gaonha shrugged in response.

"Come on guys, don't you miss the good old days?" Gaonha asked.

"Yeah I do, I do miss calling Y/N mine" Maihua said.

"I'm still yours"

"But I'm sharing your heart with a guy"

"Ok ok let's just get a drink before this conversation ends up in an argument" Gaonha said.

"We wouldn't want that would we? Our family really doesn't handle grudges well" Gaonha added.

"Yeah and I just realized why our parents were like that" I spoke up.

"Mhm and as you said, you need to forgive" Gaonha said.

"We know that Gaonha" me and Maihua said at the same time.

"Oh... ok then, where's Chris?" Gaonha asked.

"I don't know, I don't think he'll answer my calls after what happened"

"What happened?" Maihua asked and completely forgot that she was here, probably I'm used to not having Maihua around.

"Noth—"

Gaonha cut me off, "she moaned your name while having sex with Chris"

I gave her a death glare, "seriously??" I asked and I could hear Maihua chuckle.

"Keeping secrets won't be good for the both of you" Gaonha smiled before she went outside leaving me with Maihua again.

Before I could say a word a loud noise was heard and it got dusty in the building, people were all panicking and running.

They all headed to the exit, Maihua grabbed my hand, "let's go, fire is going to spread" Maihua said as she pulled me.

It was hard to see where we were going because there was just too many people.

Maihua stopped to look at someone who was laying on the floor, the person probably slipped or something. "Maihua let's go"

"You go ahead"

"What? Maihua I'm not leaving you"

She pushed me out the door and I tried to go in but everyone was running out so I couldn't.

Gaonha pulled me to where there were less people, "Gaonha Maihua is still in there"

"But we cant go back in" Gaonha answered as she tried to stop me from running back in until another loud noise was heard, louder than the one earlier causing the building to collapse but I haven't see Maihua go out which means she's still in there.

"MAIHUA!!!"
