Chapter 12- 𝔶𝔬𝔲'𝔯𝔢 𝔫𝔬𝔱 𝔥𝔢𝔯

I got water from the refrigerator and as I turned around I saw Chris which startled me.

"What are you doing here?"

"Nothing, I just wanna see you" he answered as he walked over to me.

I forced a smile and placed the glass of water on the table, "is there something wrong?" He asked.

"Don't you think everything is too fast?"

"I mean we already have a baby, why? Just tell me what's wrong"

"What if we call off the wedding" I said and he looked at me in disbelief.

"Chris, it's just... you're not the one I love" I said and he looked devastated hearing it.

"Y/N, I gave you everything, I was there when she left you and I gave you everything in the past 4 years"

"Yes and I'm thankful for that"

"Then what's the problem?"

"You're not her" I said and I was about to walk out when he grabbed my arm and turned me towards him.

"We're going through this wether you like it or not" He said in a harsh manner before he let go off me and walked out.

"Hey What was that all about?" Gaonha asked as she walked in.

"I think I don't want to marry him"

"Then tell him"

"I just did but he won't take no for an answer" I said which made Gaonha worry, "I'm gonna find a way" I said before I walked out.

While I'm feeling troubled I decided to meet up with Cheska, my bestfriend for help.

"What should I do?" I asked.

"Just leave him"

"But that's unfair for him and he's still the father of the baby I'm carrying"

"Does Maihua know all this?"

"No"

"You should invite her"

"Are you crazy??"

"Tell Maihua to stop the wedding"

"How will that happen?"

"Call her right now" Cheska demanded and I just looked at her in disbelief.

"Are you serious?" I asked.

"Fine I'm gonna call her" Cheska said as she took her phone out.

"Hello? Cheska?" I could hear Maihua's voice because Cheska put it on speaker, hearing her voice once again wrecks me.

If I get married to Chris, I might not be able to hear that voice anymore and everything just doesn't seem right anymore.

"Hey Maihua, someone needs your help" Cheska said and I felt nervous, what if Maihua doesn't wanna help me, what if she doesn't want me anymore.

"Who is it?" Maihua asked.

"Y/N, She's actually in front of me right now"

"Oh... well... about what?"

"The wedding"

"I don't think I'm the right person"

"What I meant was, we need your help to stop the wedding"

"Stop the wedding? Why?"

"Y/N feels like it's wrong and she still loves you even if she won't say it"

I got shocked at what Cheska said and I feel embarrassed, after having problems I'm going to her and ask for help that I don't deserve from her.

"Okay I will help" Maihua answered which surprised me.

"Okies thank you Maihua" Cheska said.

"Oh uhm can Y/N hear me right now?" Maihua asked, "yes she can"

"Y/N I'm gonna help you, I'm gonna take you back for real this time, you're just mine" Maihua said and at that moment I felt protected, my heart felt safe, it felt like the way it used to be when I was with Maihua.

I feel assured now and I feel like I don't have to be scared of anything.
