Chapter 7- 𝔞𝔫 𝔢𝔵𝔭𝔩𝔬𝔰𝔦𝔬𝔫 𝔦𝔱 𝔦𝔰

"We'll never forget you" I whispered as I placed the flowers on the grave, I felt a teardrop run down my cheeks.

I looked behind me and I see my mom, I can tell she's devastated about what happened.

"Y/N, mom called. She said Maihua's looking for you" Gaonha said as she approached me.

"How about mom?"

"I'll take care of Iris" Gaonha answered and I gave her a smile before I left as a sign of saying thank  you.

I got to the hospital right away since the cemetery wasn't that far from it.

My grandfather died recently and everything happened so quick because Maihua is still in the hospital recovering from what happened.

"Has she woken up?" I asked Donna as I entered the room.

"She woke up earlier and you were the first person she was looking for" Donna said, "I told her to sleep first while waiting for you" Donna added.

"Hey I'm here now" I whispered after leaving a kiss on her forehead.

She groaned and slowly opened her eyes, "Y/N?"

I gave her a smile, "how are you?"

"I'm fine but I really missed you"

"I missed you too"

"Hey I'm sorry about your grandfather" Maihua said as she reached for my hand.

"Don't worry about it" I assured her.

We were just chilling until the nurse entered, "Excuse me Mrs. Lee, someone is here to see Maihua"

Me and Donna stood up as a girl entered, "who are you?" I asked.

We aren't really expecting any guests and to my surprise she didn't answer me and directly went to Maihua and held her hand.

"Uhm Lady, who are you and why are you holding my daughter's hand" Donna asked as Maihua took her hand away looking confused.

"Oh uhm I'm sorry, I'm Alex, Maihua's wife" she said with a smile and immediately made my jaw drop.

"Nice prank but you may leave now" I said trying to get Alex out but she resisted.

"There must be some confusion here but Y/N is Maihua's girlfriend" Donna said.

"Well then why don't we ask Maihua" Alex said and all of us shifted to Maihua.

"I'm sorry Alex but I don't remember getting married" Maihua said.

"See, so now you can get your ass out of here" I said but Alex once again resisted.

"I am her wife so I have the right to stay here" she said as she took papers out of her bag. Me and Donna looked at the papers and it's a marriage certificate.

"This looks very legal to me" Donna whispered to me.

"Well how exactly did the both of you get married if Maihua doesn't remember you?" I asked.

"We're drunk but Maihua agreed" She said and I looked at Maihua only to receive a shrug.

"Is that possible?" I asked.

"Well I'm a Alex Miller, just a few calls from my dad and everything is set"

"I don't care who the hell you are but I'm pretty sure Maihua didn't want this so could you please file a divorce or something" I said feeling irritated about this whole situation.

"Y/N is right, we need a divorce" Maihua spoke up.

"Over my dead body" Alex answered.

"So I'm dating a married girl" I murmured to myself.

"Y/N please don't get mad I just didn't know that I would wake up and find out that I'm married" Maihua said.

"Well I the other day I was a cheater and now I'm mistress, what else can I do"

We received a knock and it was the doctor, "I'm sorry to interrupt but I'm just here to say that Maihua can be discharged already as soon as you pay for the hospital bills"

"Okay Where's the cashier?" Alex asked, "wait I'm paying" I said.

"No you're not"

"Yes I am"

"Stop it both of you, I'm paying for my DAUGHTER'S bills" Donna said before she walked out.

I looked at Alex and I let out a deep sigh.

I'm out home now chilling with Gaonha, "sad I wasn't there to meet my sister in law"

"You're not helping at all" I said as I pouted.

"I'm just kidding, I still want my step sister to be my sister in law" Gaonha said as she giggled.

"That sounds confusing"

"Okay but tell me the name of the wife"

"Stop calling her the wife" I said as I got annoyed hearing it.

"What do you want me to call her, mistress?" Gaonha asked sarcastically which made me roll my eyes.

"So what do you plan on doing now?" Gaonha asked which made me think.

"I would want her to regret marrying Maihua"

"What is your relationship with Maihua?"

"Girlfriend?" I said but I was unsure because I don't really remember me and Maihua talking aboun 'us'

"What about Chris?" Gaonha asked, "well he did what Maihua did 4 years ago" I answered.

"Oh so that's why you're now super clingy with Maihua"

"I'm not clingy"

"But Chris is important to you so don't make the same mistake you did 4 years ago" Gaonha said, "you should look for him and explain rather than just apologize through text" Gaonha added.

She's right, Chris is still important to me and I should look for him and apologize to him in person, he deserves a proper apology.

"I'm gonna look for him but I need help from you" I said and Gaonha agreed.

"I've had too much explosions in one week" I said before I took a shot.
