Chapter 10- 𝔪𝔦𝔰𝔱𝔞𝔨𝔢𝔰 𝔞𝔯𝔢 𝔪𝔞𝔡𝔢

Y/N's POV

I spent the whole night thinking about what I should do. The only think I could think of is to fight for me and Maihua.

I have to show Maihua that I'm not giving up on the both of us. Although I am pregnant I still want her to know that she is important to me and I do need her.

I'm in front of Maihua's apartment and before I could even know ka the door already opened revealing Alex.

"Oh you're here" I said in surprise.

"What are you doing here?" She asked which made me roll my eyes.

"Where's Maihua?"

"You're not going allowed to go in"

"Is that so" I said and pushed her to the side.

I see Maihua walk out of her room. "What are you doing here?" She asked as soon as she realized I'm here.

"I'm just taking you back Maihua, I may be pregnant but You're still mine"

I realized she was naked and I could see hickies all over her neck, I guess this explains why Alex is here.

"I see, looks like your having fun with you wife"

"Y/N I'm sorry it was a mistake"

"No! You were a mistake"

"Really? How about that baby? Is that a mistake too?"

I was speechless of what I heard, maybe I don't have the right to be angry but of Maihua never left none of this would have happened.

"Y/N I'm sorry, I didn't mean to call the baby a mistake"

"Of course you didn't mean it, you also didn't mean to leave me, and you didn't mean to get married right? You never meant anything and I'm starting to think that you never meant to love me" I said.

I was about to walk out of the apartment but Maihua pulled me back into her and kissed me.

I resisted and pulled away even if I was tempted to give in, "Not every kiss can solve a problem Maihua" I said as I quickly got out of her apartment.

I'm was driving and I felt careless at this point with all the tears I have on my face. I quickly step on the break as I see a man standing in the middle of the road.

I pulled up at the side of the road to see who this crazy person was, I couldn't see clearly because my eyes was filled with tears.

I got out of the car and wiped my tears, I finally got a clear vision and I see

"Chris?"

"Y/N"

"Where have you been? You know I've been looking for you everywhere and turns out I'll only see you standing in the middle of the road"

"I went to my parents' I needed time for myself Y/N and I came to a realization that I can you give a lot more than Maihua could but you will never love me the way you love her" Chris explained.

"You know what they say, you can love two people at the same time but never the same level" He added.

"So? What does that supposed to mean?" I asked with a shaky voice as I felt tears start to form in my eyes again.

"It means I'm setting you free" he said and turned around to walk away.

"Wait" I said and he stopped.

"I'm pregnant" I said as he turned around.

"It's mine?" He asked and I nodded in response.

He smiled and ran towards me to hug me, "you're kidding right?"

"I'm serious" I answered.

"This is great then, we can finally be a happy family" he said.

My smile faded and I felt speechless. I just don't if I'm ready for this.

A second ago Chris was setting me free and now he's interested to be a family. I still love Maihua everything but I just need to fix somethings by myself.

I wouldn't want to give Chris hope that we could still be together because I know who really is inside my heart.

I'm not planning to get back together with Chris but that doesn't mean I am taking the baby away from him. I know he has the right to be with his baby and I'm not taking that away.

"Y/N, are you listening?" Chris asked which made me snap back to reality.

"Sorry, What was that?"

"Will you marry me?"
