I combed my fingers through my hair to push it out of my face as I walked down the corridor and into the kitchen. I paused and saw that everyone, except Jeremy since he was still sleeping, were crowded around in the kitchen collecting coffee. I smiled at them and shook my head when I saw how shit they all looked, except for Kayleigh since she hadn't been drinking.
I walked over to Adrian as he poured out some coffee, before realising that I was wearing Jeremy's top from last night, with nothing covering my legs. Of course I was wearing underwear underneath though. I bit my lip but pretended as though it didn't bother me and instead accepted the cup that Adrian handed me, but I didn't miss the way his eyes took in what I was wearing. I ignored him and instead turned around to lean my back against the counter while I sipped my coffee. My eyes met Summer's and she frowned at me before offering me a tiny half smile. I grinned back and winked before finishing off my coffee.
I turned around and refilled my cup before stirring in some sugar. I had just placed the spoon back on the side when Kayleigh called my name. Frowning I turned to see her sitting down opposite me, eyes trained on me, with a mischievous grin on her face.
"So you and Jeremy were loud last night" she stated, just a little quieter than her normal voice. I bit my lip and shrugged.
"Sorry, didn't realise we were that loud" I sighed and Summer frowned at me as I saw Dan grit his teeth and his jaw work as he ground his teeth together. I frowned at the both of them and Summer glared before glancing over at Josh and back to me. I understood her hint and looked over at Josh who was sitting on a stool, furthest away from me, his hands wrapped around his cup while he stared down into the surface, avoiding eye contact with anyone, including Lisa. I sunk my teeth into my bottom lip and turned back to Summer before lifting my right shoulder in a half hug.
"Kay's right Lizzie" Ivy stated and I blushed, shrugging my shoulders just as Jeremy stumbled into the kitchen and I snorted.
"You look like shit babe" I said and he winced at the sound of my voice and I sent him an apologetic smile before pouring him some coffee and handing it to him. He smiled and took a large gulp as he leaned on the counter next to me.
I saw there was a spare seat next to Adrian so I hurried over and sat down next to him, but as soon as I sat down Adrian stood up and walked over to Jeremy. I frowned but ignored it as I heard the two guys whispering to each other, but their whispers grew in volume.
"You're fucking kidding me Jeremy!" Adrian yelled, making me jump in my seat. I turned around to face them and saw Adrian glare at me before he stormed out of the room. A few seconds later I heard his door slam shut, which also made me jump as I frowned in the direction of his bedroom. I nibbled my lip in worry since I'd never heard Adrian yell that badly, and he'd never glared at me so horribly either. I didn't like it.
Jeremy came and sat down next me, sighing loudly. We looked at each other and Jeremy smiled at me kindly before placing his hand on my leg, and I sighed before turning around.
"Don't worry about him" Jeremy whispered and I nodded before looking up at him. My stomach churned and I smiled at him.
"I'm trying not to, but he's never shouted like that before" I said and Jeremy shrugged before kissing me slowly. I kissed him back and pulled away to carry on drinking the rest of my coffee, but I saw everyone looking at us. I frowned at them all and Dan turned away to talk to Summer. Matt, Max and Chris frowned before they quickly glanced at Josh, who was still avoiding looking at anyone, before looking back at me and sending me a small smile. I bit my lip and looked at Anna and Jay. Anna was frowning in the direction of Adrian while Jay looked between Jeremy and I before he grinned and winked at us.
"So you two had fun last night then?" he said and I ducked my head as a blush spread onto my cheeks. I wasn't quite sure how to act at the moment and I heard Jeremy chuckle next to me before he wrapped an arm around my shoulders, pulling me into his side. I looked up at his brown eyes and he winked at me, which made me blush again.
"You could say that" Jeremy said, in answer to Jay's question and I snorted before elbowing him in the ribs. I shuck my head and looked away from him before quickly glancing at my friends.
"Do any of you remember what happened last night?" I asked, mostly looking at Max and Matt, which made Kayleigh snort a laugh. They frowned at me and both shook their heads.
"Well I could say that you two had fun last night" I shrugged and a grin spread over my face as Kayleigh giggled into her cup. Matt and Max frowned at me before glancing at their girlfriends and Kayleigh shook her head.
"Oh no, not with Ivy and Christy" she said and the girls glared at her before glaring at their boyfriends. Matt and Max shifted uneasily in their seats and I giggled at how uncomfortable they were.
"Try each other" I stated and their jaws dropped before they looked at each other.
"So Max how good is Matt at dancing and kissing?" Kayleigh asked and we both giggled hysterically at their expressions. It was a mixture of shock, horror, disbelief and fright.
"You're joking?" Max asked and Kayleigh and I shuck our heads.
"Nope, we remember because we stayed sober. Lets just say that the two of you can grind" I shrugged and they glared at me before shifting away from each other and I pouted at this.
"It's a shame though, because the two of you made a cute couple" Kayleigh said, carrying on with the joke that was evident in my pout. We both giggled and our friends glared at us.
"Sorry, couldn't resist that. I was nice enough to not take any pictures or videos though" I shrugged and they rolled their eyes at me. I laughed and turned back to my cup, before finishing it off.
Jeremy and I stood up and walked back over to refill our coffee cups and I stood on my tiptoes to reach his ear.
"Last night was the best night of my life" I whispered in his ear and he shivered as my breath blew across the side of his ear, while my stomach churned uneasily. He turned to look at me, red appearing on his cheeks as he looked embarrassed.
"I don't really remember much of what happened after I unhooked your bra" he said truthfully and I grinned at him before kissing his neck.
"It's okay, I'm not surprised with how much you drank last night" I sighed, shaking my head. He smiled at me and pecked my lips before he wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me against his body. I lay my head against his chest and wrapped my left arm around his waist and we stayed like that for a while before pulling away. I kissed his cheek and gulped down my flaming hot coffee, wincing when it burned my throat.
"Right I'm off to get a shower" Jay announced and Anna grinned, before wiggling her eyebrows at him and Jay grinned. I shook my head at them as they disappeared out of our apartment and to theirs.
Everyone else followed not long after, until just Jeremy, Kayleigh, Summer and I were left in the apartment. I caught Kayleigh's eye and she frowned at me before I nodded my head in the direction of the bedrooms. She nodded, understanding that I wanted to talk to her.
"Liz can I use your bathroom?" she asked and I smiled at her.
"Of course, but I was just going to get dressed if that's okay" she pretended to think about it before nodding and we stood up to walk into my room.
I closed the door behind us and Kayleigh and I sat down on my bed. I sat opposite her with my legs crossed as she sat on the end with her legs dangling over the edge.
"Okay, now what's wrong Liz?" she asked eyeing me carefully and I bit my lip, frowning at her. I paused as I thought of what to say.
"I need your help" I settled for instead and she nodded at me.
