I carried on doodling away on the scrap piece of paper that I'd found on the work surface. Jay was getting ready to work today- since he now had a full time shift as of last night when Zachary 'promoted' him to a full time bartender- and I was waiting for Anna, Jeremy and Adrian to get back since I knew that Jay wanted to tell his girlfriend before we left.
I sighed and bit my lip when I wondered how Anna would react when she got back. Maybe things would be okay now, but I knew that with how things had gone this weekend that it was futile in hoping this. I had no idea of how it had gone yesterday, and since Dan had offered to give my friends a ride back I didn't know what Anna had been told by them. But since it was technically Josh's business as to whether he told my friend the truth or not- I was swaying towards the not- I knew there was a chance that she might still be off with me.
"They back yet?" Jay asked, scrubbing his hair dry with a towel and I shook my head at him before glancing at my watch on my right arm.
"Nope, but Adrian said they would be back within the next hour, and that was just over an hour ago, they should be back soon" I replied and Jay nodded before taking a swig out of the coffee that I'd made him for when he emerged from his apartment. He nodded at me just as the door swung open and Adrian walked in followed by Jeremy, Anna, Summer and the guys. I sighed quietly but smiled at my two roommates.
"Hey you two" I grinned and they smiled before Adrian dropped his bags to the floor before hurrying over and hugging me tightly. He hugged me so tightly that I nearly fell off my stool. I giggled into his chest.
"Adrian I love you and all, but you fucking smell. I'm clean and do not want to smell like a guy who's just been camping" I said and he pulled away, before sticking his tongue out at me.
"Well you're mean" he rolled his eyes and pulled out half a dozen cups from the cupboard before he set to making coffee for himself and our guests.
"Nice place" Summer said glancing around and I smiled.
"You can thank me for that" I said and Adrian and Jeremy snorted, which had me glaring at them. They rolled their eyes at me and I huffed a sigh.
"What? If it wasn't for me telling you that we had to redecorate you would still have the stuff that Jeremy's mum picked out when she gave him the place" I rolled my eyes and Jeremy poked my side which caused me to rub the spot before I poked him back. He glared and we began poking each other which caused me to laugh when he poked the part where I was ticklish.
"You two are so immature" Adrian sighed from behind me and I jumped to my feet to escape Jeremy's finger before smiling at my friend and shrugging as Jeremy poked me. I groaned when it hurt and leaned against Adrian.
"Jeremy keeps picking on me. Tell him off Adrian" I looked up at him, fluttering my eyelashes. Jeremy snorted, sending me a grin that I knew said 'ha, he's my friend he'll take my side' but I glared at him and carried on fluttering my eyelashes at Adrian. He rolled his eyes at me and sighed, before blowing on the surface of his coffee.
"Stop picking on her Jer" he said and Jeremy gasped before I wiggled my hips in victory as I smirked at my other friend. He glared at me and I skipped around to the couch before I gestured to everyone to sit down. They smiled at me and Jeremy picked up my drawing of some random stick figure before flashing it to me.
"What the fuck?" he asked and I grinned at him as I sat on the back of the couch.
"It's your girlfriend bro" I giggled and he glared before walking over and tickling me. I shrieked and wiggled out of his grasp only to do a backwards roll off the couch, ending in my bumping my head on the floor. I groaned which had Jeremy doubled over in fits of laughter. I heard some of the guys snort and I climbed to my feet before shooting my roommate a glare.
