finn was the boy who kept his emotions repressed and worked on his realness- manifesting his dreams.
they laid in the dry grass on a cold night, hand in hand and staring up at the abnormally large moon. finn turned to her and y/n turned to him. "i love you." she whispered, leaning in to hug him and lay her head on his chest.
"i love you more." he smiled as he felt his heart beat. "not possible, jaeden." she giggled, making eye contact with him. y/n watched as his smile dropped and his face drained off all colour.
"is something wrong?" she cooed. "i'm finn." he muttered. the boy felt his heart literally break into pieces.
"no, silly. you're jaeden!"
after the breakup, he'd been waking up drenched in sweat. his dreams replayed his every word to y/n, only now had he realised how she hadn't taken them to heart- or how she had fallen out of love with finn and in love with somebody else. all he could hear was:
'i don't think you and y/n will work out.'
the words his mother spoke were echoing in his head.
finn and y/n met in california and she had told him she loved jaeden in georgia.
her heart was in the ground, frozen over. his heart in the sky, supernova.
finn felt like y/n's emotions of their relationship were foggy; all of the emotions and memories. his heartbreak was like a supernova, the death of a powerful thing.
yet in his dreams, she was still his motivation. finn was diagnosed with severe anxiety, but he passed it off as a phase. all of her words echoed through his mind, dragging into his dreams. her words seemed like a never ending maze.
finn picked up his phone with a shaky hand, turning it on and seeing that it was 4:26 in the morning. he dismissed it and pressed on contacts, groaning as the white background flashed quickly into his face. finn scrolled down until he saw the contact.
y/n 💕💞💖💘
he took a deep breath and pressed call. the call wouldn't get through because she had blocked him.
his dreams had been getting so out of hand that he spammed her with small messages and voicemails that creeped her and jaeden out. jaeden searches through her phone and blocked finn on every single social site.
his messages would have never gone through.
hey, y/n/n. it happened again. you kissed me a-and called me jaeden. my heart broke. my hearts been broken this whole fucking time and you just left me? i'm not mad- i'm just disappointed. we loved each other so much and you just through that away. please, just kiss me again and tell me you love me. sent at 4:29am
