y/n being happy for mike and eleven was something they were all happy about. she had been the only girl until they found eleven in the woods.
everyday y/n went to see mike at his house, he would always dismiss her saying he had homework, but she always saw him scatter down towards the basement, presumably towards eleven.
he didn't know how selfless she was. the fact that she wouldn't ruin mike and eleven's newfound relationship was nice. y/n wasn't going to ruin it by telling mike she had liked him since the first day she laid eyes on him. she didn't want to hurt him.
so the girl kept it all inside, her aching heart and fatal feelings. all she wanted to do was talk and let it out but her feelings would hurt everyone around her. she felt like a burden so she buried it deeper until she felt worse then ever. whenever she saw the two together, she smiled. it was a habit now and she hated it.
lonely and sad were her only emotions but she knew she shouldn't be so selfish over something nobody else could control.
