"i was at the coffee shop."
y/n smiled weakly of his stupid lie, the only good thing she got was the sound of his voice. finn did this daily, like a routine and he thought she was stupid enough to believe his lies.
'it's different! i swear, i listened.' he said, fake tears running down his cheeks. she was about to run out with her bags in her hands. y/n was finn's only chance of the teenage experience, thinking no other girl would take him but her.
finn always role-played the good guy.
he had y/n in the palm of his hand and he knew it and she felt like if he let her drown, she'd still see him.
y/n knew he was cheating but just wanted the satisfaction of a healthy relationship. she'd kiss his lips that tasted of her until it tasted like y/n.
he always gave the worst of him yet she still stayed.
a red cup of water sat numbly in her grip as y/n watched him joke around with his friends at a party he had dragged her to. finn did this regularly, always disappearing at the end of the night and making y/n confused and having to uber back home.
their make-ups were pointless. fights would happen anyway and on the verge of leaving, he would yell for her to come back to him; and she would always oblige.
her love for finn was stupid and pointless, but to her; it was art.
