Chapter 12: The Havoc

When I re-opened my eyes, I found my bed empty. Sayaka must've woken up before me and didn't want to shake me awake.

Stretching my hands out, I got out of the chair. My whole body was super stiff and sore because of my sleeping position, but my top priority right now is to get some food in my system. Looking at the clock, I was shocked to see that it was almost 10 o'clock.

Putting my shoes on and getting my room key, I walked out of my room and closed my door. Then, I turned towards the Dining Hall. The school hallways, as always, were creepily quiet, but I'm used to it at this point.

When I arrived at the Dining Hall, my eyes immediately glanced over to the table. There were 2 girls there, and they were Hina and Sakura.

I could hear some words being exchanged from the two, probably about what they just saw from the DVD recorders. Not wanting to bother them, I walked past them.

Walking towards the kitchen, I grabbed whatever food I felt like eating. I found myself grabbing a chicken drumstick from the fridge and putting some rice on my plate.

"Guess I'm feelin' American today, eh?"

I then place the drumstick into the heater and set the timer for 5 minutes. As I waited, I turned towards the kitchen door, and noticed something... interesting...

"Huh...? One of the kitchen knives... is gone?"

Walking closer to the knife stand, sure enough, one of the kitchen knives was missing.

"Oh god... I should tell the girls outside about this."

Dashing out of the kitchen, Hina and Sakura were still sitting there. I then clapped my hands to alert their attention.

Hina: Apollo!? Where did you come from!?

Apollo: No time to talk, there's something urgent I need to tell you two!

Sakura: Urgent...?

Apollo: One of the knives in the kitchen stand, it's missing!

At this, both of them stood out from their chairs.

Hina: Missing...?

Apollo: Someone took one of the knives and kept it for themselves. I'm sure you know what THAT could mean.

Sakura's face then turns into horror as she realizes what could happen soon.

Sakura: We need to know who took the knife.

Apollo: Exactly.

Both girls then exchanged glances towards each other. Then, Hina walked up to me.

Hina: Apollo... I think you need to know this.

Apollo: Huh?

Hina: A few moments ago, Sayaka came down to the kitchen. She looked... really suspicious...

Apollo: Suspicious?

Sakura: She told us that she was only there to grab some food, so we paid no mind. But... She looked cautious. Terrified, even. There's a possibility that she may or may not have taken the knife.
