Start arise a new day, the Monokuma Morning Announcement rang. A start of what was usually a normal day.
But, today was no normal day. Today, the agenda was to find Alter Ego.
So, with high spirits, students left their dorm rooms and walked towards the dining hall.
But, in Makoto's perspective, as he and Sayaka made their way to the dining hall...
They were shocked to see that only 4 were present.
Sakura: Is this it? The number seems to drop every day...
Hina: Aren't they coming...?
Kyoko: ...
Junko: Normally, Makoto and Sayaka are always the latest. So... I guess so?
There were only 6 people present at the dining hall. Sakura, Hina, Kyoko, Junko, Makoto, and Sayaka.
Makoto: Six... people?
Hina: God! This is why I hate people who take their sweet time with everything!
Sayaka: But... normally, Leon Celeste would always be present each meeting. I'm... worried.
Sakura: Have faith, Sayaka. Let's wait a little while longer for the others.
And waited they did.
But, seconds turnt to minutes, then it turnt to an hour, and yet...
No one else showed up.
Hina: It's 8 o'clock. We've been waiting here a full hour.
Sakura: Why haven't the others come?
Hina: Yeah... Leon and Celeste have never missed a day... until now.
Sayaka: Apollo also comes by every so often, and he's not here today as well.
Makoto: And what I'm really worried about is... Apollo and Taka. They were more eager than anyone to look for Alter Ego... and they're not here.
Kyoko: Something must have happened.
Makoto: Huh...?

Makoto's face turns shocked.
Makoto: Don't tell me that someone did something... for money!?
Kyoko: Not exactly. He also mentioned a "special prize" for whoever took Apollo's life.
A sudden chill then goes down everyone's spine.
