Chapter 13- Funeral

Bryan just told Myra that Tobi is dead. She is in shock. She lost another person who is close to her. But she isn't in the position to mourn. As a leader, she has to be strong and inform everyone. So she stays calm and says: ''Please, everyone listen! I have some bad news to tell you all. We got Tobi back but unfortunately, his condition was too bad. I am sorry to say that but our dear friend Tobi is dead.'' The members of Camp-19 can't believe it. They start crying and mourning. Myra goes and lets everyone digest the message.

Ben, the leader of Camp-8 is on his way to Myra and says: ''I am sorry for your loss. I know, now is not the time for it but Camp-8 has to go soon. As a present for your forgiveness, Camp-8 gives you a box full of new guns and weapons. That's all. We don't want to bother you anymore. You have enough to do with the funeral.'' Myra seems spaced out and distressed. She doesn't say anything. Ben asks: ''Myra? Is everything okay?'' Myra looks at him and says: ''Yes, sorry. I was just thinking about something. Thank you for your present. You and your people can stay here. You don't bother us.'' Ben responds: ''Thank you but we will still go. I didn't know Tobi that well but he seemed like a good man.'' Myra smiles: ''He was.''

Camp-8 is now on their way back home. Myra and the others are making everything ready for Tobi's funeral. Two days later they are on their way to bury Tobi at his favorite place. A little pond that is near the camp. Camp-19 makes its way. Leila and the other craftsman from Group 1 made a coffin for Tobi. Ace, Ray, Myra, and Leila are carrying The coffin with Tobi in it, to his grave. The others follow them. They put his coffin into the grave. Everyone is sad and cries. Then Ace steps up and says: ''I want to say something. Something about Tobi. Because of him, I am still alive. He found me when I was wounded and helped me. He is the reason why I am now a member of Camp-19. I can't thank him enough for that. His last words to me were that I became a good friend to him and that I should protect this camp for him. And I will. I promised him that. May he rest in peace now.'' Bryan is touched by Ace's speech. He also wants to tell something. Bryan says: ''I think I should also say something since I knew Tobi since he was a child. We always played together. He was always so clumsy. I always had to nurse him because he injured himself all the time. He never cared about his wounds. His only goal was to protect this camp. And he did. He is a true friend.'' With tears in her eyes, Leila starts speaking too: ''When we were children Tobi was always there for everyone. I remember that he always tried to cheer me up when I was upset. He never wanted to see me cry, that's why he was always protecting me. I am very grateful for that. I am sure he will still look after us even after death.'' Ray speaks now: '' Tobi and I were troublemakers as children. We always got into trouble with the adults here. They always asked us, who did this? Who broke this? Whose idea was that? Before I had even the chance to say something, Tobi blamed everything on himself. Even though, it wasn't him. He always wanted to take the punishment to protect me. Of course, I wasn't okay with that and said that it was my idea but Tobi always said that I am lying and that it was him. In the end, we both got punished. He always wanted to sacrifice himself for his friends. He even now did that.'' Now it's Myra's turn: '' Tobi is a big loss for our camp. He was and still is a part of Camp-19 and we will all miss him. He was my first friend after the pandemic started. We were like siblings. I am so sorry that he had to die like that. He didn't deserve that. Tobi always played the hero when we all were children. And in the end, he died as a hero.''

Everyone still stays at Tobi's grave and they make a minute of silence for him. Suddenly it starts snowing. Myra thinks: ''Is that you Tobi? Are you watching us?''

Back in the camp, everyone seems devastated. Myra has to do something and she says: ''What's with those faces, you all make? I know Tobi just died but we don't have to forget something. Who killed him? Aiden? No. He was just a tool. The real reason why Tobi died was Taylor! So what are we going to do? Right, we will avenge Tobi! We will win this war for Tobi! Do you all hear me? It won't take long until the war begins, so we have to prepare! Tobi would want us to win! So all of you, please fight on my side! On Tobi's side! Tell me! Who is going to win this war?!'' Myra cheers everyone up and everyone yells: ''Camp-19!'' Myra smiles and says: ''And that's what I thought! Well then, if Taylor wants a war, he can have it!''
