Chapter 21- Armor

A few days later Myra goes to Ace and says: ''I think you are right. The wolves would be a good benefit and also they would be unexpected for the enemy. Even though I don't want them to get hurt but I have to take every chance that could help us win this war.'' Ace says: '' I am glad you thought about it. Everything is going to be fine, don't worry.'' Myra says: ''I am going to ask Ray and Leila if they can also make some armors for them.'' Myra wants to go but Ace says: ''No kiss?'' Myra kisses him and says: ''See you later.''

Myra asks Leila and Ray: ''So you two know that I found some wolves a couple of years ago?'' Leila says: ''Yeah, you told us. Why are you asking?'' Ray says: ''I can already tell that I have a bad feeling.'' Myra says: ''It isn't that bad. I just want to know if you can make armors for them.'' Leila asks: ''For what?'' Ray says: ''Don't tell me you want them to fight with us. Are you crazy?'' Leila hits Ray on his arm and says: ''Watch your mouth.'' Myra says: ''Calm down. They will be useful. They are fast and strong. Having them will not weaken us.'' Ray says: ''I know but they are still wild animals.'' Myra says: ''I am going to borrow some clothes from all members of Camp-19 so that they get used to your smell. Don't worry they won't hurt you.'' Ray says: ''Okay, as you wish. We have finished the armors for our fighters so we can do some for the wolves too.'' Leila says: ''It will take a little bit of time because we are still working on the other things but they will be still finished in time.'' Myra says: ''Good. I am grateful to you two. I know you have a lot to do.'' Ray says: ''If it's for you then it's my pleasure.'' Leila and Myra are laughing and Leila says: ''You are bad at flirting and if you didn't notice Myra is with Ace together.'' Ray says: ''I just tried to be nice.'' Myra says: ''How did you know, Leila?'' Leila laughs and says: ''Come on, it's so obvious. Ray is the only one who didn't notice because he is stupid. Plus I saw you and Ace kissing.'' Ray says: ''Who is stupid?'' Myra says: ''Okay, enough. Now get to work. I am going to get Lucy so that we can help you two.'' Leila says: ''Thank you.''

Myra is on her way to Lucy but she sees Lucy struggling to stand. She starts coughing and fells. Myra yells: ''Lucy! Bryan, we need you here!'' Bryan runs to them and checks Lucy. She is by consciousness but very weak. 10 minutes later Myra asks Bryan: ''What does she have?'' Bryan says: ''She has a pneumonia. That means a lung infection.'' Myra asks: ''Will she be okay?'' Bryan says: ''It isn't that bad yet but if we don't give her the right medicine then it will get worse and can cause death.'' Myra says: ''Then what medicine does she need? Antibiotics?'' Bryan says: ''Yes, but we don't have them.'' Myra says: ''We can't let her die.'' Bryan says: ''I know. I think there is something else that could help.'' Bryan takes one of his books and finds the page he is looking for: ''Found it! Propolis can help.'' Myra says: ''Propolis? Never heard of that.'' Bryan says: ''It's made from bees. It's resin. They are on trees or bushes. It depends. I don't know if there are any here though.'' Myra says: ''We still have to try. I am going to look after it.'' Bryan says: ''But who is going to look after the camp then?'' Myra says: ''Oh, I forgot. Bryan, you will be my new right hand.'' Bryan is shocked: ''Why me?'' Myra says: ''You are one of the people here that I trust the most. You are smart, wise, a doctor and you can fight. You are always there to support me since we were children and all that. So congratulations. I will tell the others too.'' Byran says: ''Thank you for your trust.''

Myra announces: ''Please, everyone listen! Lucy is sick and I am going to get some medicine for her. As long as I am gone, Bryan will be the leader since he is now my right hand. So respect him!'' Ace says: ''You are going alone?'' Myra says: ''Yeah and no you can't come with me.'' Ace says: ''Why not?'' Myra says: ''You have things to do here.'' Ace says: ''They will still be able to their work even if I am not here. You are the leader. If something happens to you then I could never forgive myself.'' Myra says: ''I can protect myself, don't worry.'' Ace says: ''I know but I would feel better if I am with you to be sure.'' Myra says: ''Fine and stop looking at me like a puppy.'' Ace laughs: ''Well at least it worked.'' Myra says: ''Now let's go.''
