Chapter 18- I love you

In the camp, Ace treats Myra's wounds on her hands. He says: ''Done. I am going to speak with Bryan, so he can go look after Aiden. Be right back.'' Ace goes to Bryan and says: ''We have a problem. I don't know what's happening to Myra. She isn't herself anymore. She almost beat Aiden to death. I never saw her like that before.'' Bryan says: ''I knew she was off in the past few days but I didn't know it was that serious. Tobi's death and on top Lucy's death seem to have damaged her more than I thought. I should have realized that earlier. Please speak to her. I go and look after Aiden.''

Ace wants to talk to Myra but he can't find her. He asks Ray: ''Where is Myra?'' Ray responds: ''I thought she was with you. I don't know.'' Ace is worried and searches for Myra. He searches everywhere but can't find her. There are two places left where she can be. He goes to Tobi's grave but she also isn't there. Then he knows where she can be. Ace runs to the Soul tree and sees Myra sitting there. He sits next to her and asks: ''I have searched everywhere for you. Please, talk to me. Earlier, you asked me if you are a monster. What do you mean?'' Myra looks at the ground and says: ''Am I like Aiden?'' Ace is confused: ''No, of course not. Why would you ask me that.'' Myra says: ''Because Aiden and I are similar. We both enjoy killing. Hurting people. We also can't protect anyone.'' Aiden says: ''That's not true. Maybe you enjoy killing and all that stuff but you do this to bad people. You never hurt someone good. But he did. Everyone has a bad side. You don't have to be ashamed of that. You two are nothing alike. You are a good person and most of all a good leader. I promise you that.'' Myra says: ''Good leader? I let my friend get tortured and killed. I lost an ally and my friend Lucy as well. A leader should protect her people but I am not capable to do that. I failed as a leader.'' Ace gets louder: ''Don't say that! You are a great leader! You did what you could to save Tobi. Other leaders wouldn't even have rescued him. You did. And what happened to Camp-5 isn't your fault. There is nothing you could have done for them. A leader cares for her people. You do. A leader fights for her people. You do. A leader would die for her people. You would. And so much more. You have everything that a leader needs.'' Myra says: ''You really think you know me that well to be that sure?'' Ace responds: ''I do. With all my heart.'' Myra says: ''Why do you even care?'' Ace says: ''Because I love you.'' Ace leans forward and kisses Myra and she kisses him back. Ace says: ''I take that as a, I love you too.'' They smile at each other and hugged. A few minutes later Myra says: '' You were right. I should finally kill him and let it go. Thank you for speaking to me. I feel a lot better now.'' Ace smiles at her and kisses her on the forehead.

Back in the camp Myra and Ace can't believe their eyes. Lucy and some of her people from Camp-5 are in their camp. They are wounded. Myra immediately treats Lucy's wounds and says: ''What happened?'' Lucy responds: ''This basta*d Taylor attacked us. Most of my people got killed. I was just able to save a few of them. Barely 5 people including me survived.'' Myra says: ''I am glad that you are still alive. I thought you were dead. But how was Camp-10 able to win against you from Camp-5?'' Lucy responds: ''I don't know how or where they got them but they have grenades and tear gas.'' Myra is shocked: ''This is going to be a big problem. Bryan is going to treat the rest of you. I am going to warn our other allies. You and your people can stay as long as you want in our camp.'' Lucy says: ''Thank you.''

Myra sent letters to the other camps and also informs the group leaders of Camp-19 about the grenades and tear gas. Leila says: ''What are we going to do?'' Myra says: ''Can you make some masks for the tear gas?'' Leila responds: ''Yeah, I think that's possible.'' Myra says: ''Good. Bryan what about the poison?'' Bryan responds: ''It's done.'' Myra says: ''Great. I have an idea. I want to build some canons and fill them with poison. We will fire them on our enemies and whoever inhales it will die.'' Ray says: ''You want to beat them with their own weapons. Smart.'' Myra smiles: ''Kinda. Bryan and Leila, can you do that?'' Both of them are saying: ''Yes.'' Ray says: ''Our groups can also help, right Ace?'' Ace says: ''Of course. We can start right now.'' Everyone gets ready and starts working. Ace asks Myra: ''Are you going to train the others today?'' She responds: ''Yeah but I am delaying it to later. I have still something to do. See you later.''

Myra is on her way to Aiden. She says: ''Missed me?'' Aiden responds: ''Did you calm down?'' Myra says: ''Yes but I am afraid our time together is ending today.''
