After not hearing anything on the walkie talkie for a while Jack started to fall asleep. The poor guy was exhausted. At some point in the night, I saw Jack starting to twist and turn while grunting in his sleep. "He must be having a nightmare." I said to myself.
After a few minutes of watching him continue to move around and struggle against an invisible force, I decided to do something about it. I moved over to his laundry pile and laid down next to him.' What should I do now?' I asked myself. I continued to think but then remembered. Whenever I had a nightmare I would sing myself a special song that would help calm me down. I opened my mouth and started to sing.

Jack stopped thrashing and groaning and seemed to have calmed down to the peaceful sound of Y/N's voice

Once I finished my song I saw that Jack was completely motionless and had a satisfied smile on his face. I smiled, satisfied with making Jack feel better. Even if he didn't know it. I yawned exhausted from the previous day, the next thing I know. I'm out like a light.
Jacks POV
I woke up to a warm body next to mine. Confused, I rolled over and saw a sleeping Y/N. ' I wonder how she got here?' It's not like I was complaining though. She looked absolutely beautiful while sleeping. I leaned in closer getting a better look at her. But the next thing I know I hear a loud hiss coming from behind me. I look and see Link staring at me with a look that could kill. Link suddenly bite my nose and attached himself to my face. I thrashed around and grabbed Link trying to get him off. "Link get off that hurts." I yell trying and continuing to get Link-detached from my face. During this process, I hear " Corporal Tiger-Pants to Captain Danger! Jack, are you receiving?" I gasped in surprise and ran to the walkie talkie tripping in the process.
I rip Link off my face and answer back "Quint! I'm here! Jack on the mic." "Jack! Yes!" Quint said back excitedly. "Your not dead!" I said back happily. " Neither are you!" Both Quint and I laugh at the success of knowing our best friend is safe. " I'm really happy you're alive, Quint." I say letting a tear fall from my eye as I wipe it away. " I feel the same way." Quint says back. "I'm happy I'm alive too." I make a face not knowing if he was joking or not. "Quint I'm on my way and I'm bringing a friend." I say turning off the walkie talkie.
I run over to Y/N and gently shake her awake. "Y/N wake up you won't believe what happened." I say excitedly while continuing to shake her awake. She eventually sits up and starts rubbing her eyes, getting the sleepiness out of them. Honestly, this was probably the cutest thing I have ever seen but I need to stay focused. "What happened?" Y/N asked groggily. "Quint called back and is alive and safe, were going to go to his house!" I said overly excited. Y/N was fully awake now and had the biggest smile on her face. "Really? That's awsome can we leave right now?" She asked with the same level of excitement as I had. "Sure, Ill plan our route." I said walking away to my map. Y/N sat down in from of me as I started talking. "OK. Now, to get to Quint's house. Women, this won't be easy." I said standing in a military pose. Y/N just giggled at me. I continued "The path is perilous. Zombie hordes, Doxer lairs, Monstrous vine thingy jungles. And the big guys Octogrute, Tenticefiend, and who knows what else." I finish. "Come on Y/n time to suit up." I say. She nods and walks off. I Gather my balloons, my hockey stick, and start chugging some water. I choke for a second and look at Y/N to make sure she didn't see. I continue getting ready by fixing my gloves and tapping my bat better.
I look at Y/N and see her with a shorter ninja sword that was in a scabbard laying across her back.

She looked awesome. She smiled and gave me the thumbs up. I gave her the thumbs up and said "Lets Boogie." I got on the zip line but then fell flat on my face. I grunted in pain. I heard Y/N laughing her butt off and Link who was on her shoulder giving me a ' your such an idiot' face. "It's not funny." I say while pouting like a child. "Oh its totally funny." Y/N said back perfectly going on the zip line and landing safely on the ground. I playfully rolled my eyes and started running one way. "Um, Jack isn't Quint's house the other way." Y/N tells me while pointing in the opposite direction that I had previously been going. I sigh and mumble a yes while running the way she had pointed.
Y/N's POV
As we are running I see Jack put a metal sifter on his head while laughing proudly. I just shake my head and continue to run. Jack started making his own theme music while going through the long grass as we feel a big thump. "Uh-oh, Dozer." Jack says. I smile fondly at the big rock giants ignoring Jack's description of the monster. "And possibly still breathing dudes like me and Y/N." Jack says starting to back away. "Luckily there slow and dumb so ill be turning and fleeing, and living to fight another day." Jack says starting to run away but runs into another Dozer. In his case, I think what he says is true but I stay in the place where I am. one of the Dozers starts to reach for Jack but gets hit with a firework. In the heat of the moment I see Jack running to the house where the fireworks are coming but I stay where I am. Once the Dozers are no longer being hit they look pretty mad and growl in anger. "Razor. Jaws. I thought I told you no eating living people." I say in a mocking manner with my hands on my hips. Both monsters stop growling and look down at the little human girl. The one called Razor reaches for her and grabs her. Anyone might have thought that the Dozer was going to eat her. But the big monster gently brings the girl to his face and starts to rubs his head against hers.
"You big loaf, stop." I say giggling at the monster and weakly try to pushing his head away from me with my hands. Razor stops and fondly looks at me. I smile back and feel a nudge on my back. I turn and see Jaws wearing a pouting expression while trying to get my attention. I giggle and transfer myself from one Dozer's hand to the other. I fondly hug jaws's big head to the best of my ability. I stay like this for a while talking and cooing at the big monsters that I had wrapped around my finger. The next thing I hear is "Y/N, Y/N where are you." 'I guess Jack finally realized I was gone. It hurt a little but I let it go and said "Up here." Jack and his friend look up and see me sitting on Razor's shoulder. "What's up guys?" I say while smirking.
