They told me that
I should have been
A son,who will save
The identity of family with A gun
Instead, I am feeble,
restricted and a girl,
Who seeks a man to be secure..
They forget that if
A girl would not be in this world
than they also would not be here.
They forget to tell me about Rani of jhasi,
Who fought with whites
With a sword and a son
On her back,
They forget to tell me about
Malala who was shot by the taliban,
But survived at last ,
And then also she fought for the
Rights of women and won at last!
They always want me to feel
That I can't do anything
As I am just a girl
They never want to see my other face
Just as strong as my brother.
If they will restrict me
Based on my gender
Than how would they be able
to know about the power of
My mother and me......
