I've decided that since I have a big enough platform, I'd take a second to speak about this.

What happened to George Floyd was a tragedy, and the behavior that those cops displayed was not at all justified. So many people take for granted that they'll wake up another day. And for those of us that have, we should use those days to bring justice to the ones that can't.

I am an Afro-Latina woman and while I may not be as privileged as whites, I'm not as mistreated as my fellow blacks. But even with that being said, I believe that all colors should come together to defend these wrongdoings. Don't choose silence, don't choose fear, don't choose defeat. Use your voice and raise it as loud as you can, because it may just help another individual from suffering the same fate. I'd much rather make a small difference than to not make one at all.
