"So this is a problem." Enzo stated the obvious from the center of the room with his arms crossed causing me to glare at him before rolling my eyes.
"You're bloody right this is a problem." I spoke through gritted teeth, turning to Damon who sat mindlessly next to Bonnie at the table besides the couch I was laying on. He was sitting with a blank stare but I knew in his mind were a thousand thoughts running, "Lily has the stone and at any given moment is going to bring back her loony tunes boyfriend. What are we going to do about that?"
"Let her bring him back." Damon finally began to speak, dividing our attention.
"What?" Bonnie asked in confusion, knitting her eyebrows together in disbelief at his statement.
I sat up from my position on the couch in curiosity, waiting anxiously for an explanation.
Damon shifted in his seat, breaking his staring contest with the floor to look up at all of us, "Let her reunite with the man she's cherished and loved, and missed for 100 years. Because then after that," He paused momentarily, "I'm going rip his head off right in front of her."
I smirked at his words, "Not if I do it first."
In the corner of my eye I saw a smile pull at the corner of Enzo's lips while Bonnie took in a deep breath, glancing between Damon and I, "So much for a new leaf."
I stood to my feet, "I want to take everything from her and I want her to watch as I do it." I crossed my arms, glancing over the three, "Who's in?"
"I am." A fourth voice intervened, causing me to turn my head in the direction it came from only to see Stefan standing with a white envelope in his hands.
I tilted my head, "Stefan dearest changed his mind." I smirked, "Why?"
When Stefan didn't answer, Damon stood from his chair, walking over to his younger brother and snatching the envelope from his hand and reading what was inside. "Lily Salvatore requests your presence to celebrate our towns peaceful spirit and introduce a new friend. This evening 5:00." Damon removed his eyes from the paper, turning to us, "Hm. Looks like Mom raised her man crush from the dead."
"Talk about impeccable timing." I grinned. "We're going."
...
"Well, aren't you a sight for soar eyes?" Enzo teased with a sly smile once his eyes caught mine. He stood leaned against his car with his hands tucked into the pockets of his tuxedo, waiting outside of the Salvatore house for Lily's event with a grimace until I had arrived.
"Am I?" I quirked an eyebrow as I walked towards him, walking flawlessly in the silver heels I wore that complimented the sleek purple dress that hugged my body just right. I wasn't new to dressing up for parties and learning to master getting just about anything done in high heels-- I had spent centuries doing it.
He offered his arm to me which I accepted, but not before doing a teasing curtsy before I looped my arm with his as we walked toward the front door together.
"I'm not sure what to expect from tonight, darling. And I don't know if that should excite me or make me terribly afraid." His thick accent rang through my ears as we waited for Lily to answer the door after he had knocked.
I shivered when I felt his lips graze my ear when he whispered, craning his neck slightly. I brushed it off, feeling a smile play out on my face as I tilted my head up, meeting his eyes before I responded, "Afraid." I said, glancing down towards his lips before the door swung open.
I turned my head, seeing Lily stand with a plastic smile and her hands folded; a tight red dress wrapped on her body. Anyone could see she wanted to make an impression on Julian tonight after not seeing him for 100 years.
