Meanwhile..

"She won't wake up."

Everyone's attention diverted to Enzo once he had barged through the door with Nayeli laying limp in his arms, a noticeable bloody hole soaked through her white shirt that you couldn't miss if you tried.

Stefan paused his movements of cleaning out the living room after Lily had left once he saw the concern in Enzo's eyes. The man was distressed as the original vampire lay helpless in his arms.

"What?" Stefan asked, his tone laced with worry.

Enzo took in a shaky breath, laying the blonde down on the couch who looked as if she were dead. "She saved me from my own foolishness. Julian stabbed her and fled like a coward but I've tried everything..."

He glanced over to the brothers, "..she won't wake up."

...

Patience was the last thing Damon, Stefan, and Enzo had. It was clear when Enzo hovered over Nayeli's still body as Bonnie chanted, his eyes keeping out for any detail whatsoever that would imply the girl would awake.

Stefan seemed the most composed with his arms crossed over his chest as he leaned against the couch quietly, waiting for any news on the vampire's condition. Though looks were deceiving, as his mind was racing.

Damon hadn't even tried to contain himself as he threw items across the room, causing Bonnie to jump every few seconds before she resumed the spell.

This went on for, what felt like, an eternity until Bonnie's chanting stopped completely.

"Well?" Enzo's eyes snapped up towards the brunette, just waiting anxiously for an answer.

Bonnie's eyes opened slowly as she glanced down at the blonde laying on the table, "Nothing." She whispered, "I can't bring her back."

Everyone jumped simultaneously at the sound of Damon throwing a glass across the room, smashing it against the wall.

"Damon!" Stefan turned to his brother, "We're all upset here but breaking things isn't gonna bring Nayeli back."

Damon let out a dry chuckle as Bonnie stared at him with knitted eyebrows, worried about his condition. "She's not coming back, Stefan." He mumbled under his breath.

"Don't say that." Stefan shook his head.

"She's not coming back!" Damon shouted now, his voice booming through the room. "Think about it. If this were to happen to anybody else-- anyone at all-- who would we go to?"

"Nayeli." Bonnie answered quietly.

Damon snapped his fingers at her answer, "Bingo." He said, his arms falling to his side. "If Bonnie can't bring her back, no one can."

"That's it." Enzo finally spoke up, grabbing his jacket abruptly off the table and storming across the room to leave but Stefan stopped him.

"What's it?" He asked in confusion at Enzo's lack of context.

"I'm going to find out what that bastard did to Nayeli." Enzo spoke through gritted teeth.

Damon groaned, "Listen, buddy, your vendetta towards Julian is what got Nayeli into this mess in the first place."

Stefan nodded, agreeing with his brother, "Damon's right. Besides, we have a plan."

"Mhm." Damon hummed before taking a drink of his bourbon.

"What's the plan?"

"Julian needs to die. Today." Stefan answered, "It took some convincing but Lily's agreed to help. Everything has to appear to be normal. Julian's not an idiot. If he finds out that Lily turned on him, we're all dead."
