Pokemon: New Beginnings

Chapter 8:

~Episode 8: A Aquatic Battle!~

Akiza, Kaguya, Travis, and Serena head back to her gym in Castalia City were she will earn her second gym badge.

"Alright, here we are!" Serena says happily. "I hope that this will be the battle you'll never forget" She tells us and walks inside.

Kaguya, Travis, and I follow her and we were in awe of what was inside. It was like an water oasis. It was a mix of a desert and a lake all in one.

"Now" Serena says as she throws up a pokeball and releases an Lapras "See you on the battle field". Then her Lapras drags her to her spot in the gym. And Akiza knew what she had to do...

Battle her way to the top...

She battled each trainer and she done it with ease but  two of out of the four almost took her out. 

Now she finally made it to the top and there the water-type gym leader smiled and walked towards her. 

"It's suprising, you took down my trainers very fast....impressive" Serena puts her hand on her hip "But can you beat me?".

"Let's battle!" the two girls yelled. 

So they release their pokemon. Akiza chooses her Nyanmi while Serena chooses Elifin.

A boy with green spiky hair and wearing white surf shorts lifts his hands up in the air and yells "Let the battle begin!".

"Alright! Elifin, use water gun!" Serena yells. The little elephant eared pokemon releases a spiral of water from it's mouth and hits Nyanmi.

"You okay?" Akiza asks. Nyanmi shakes it's head then looks at her trainer with a nod. Akiza smirks and nods in response.

 "Nyanmi, use Shadow Ball!" Akiza yells. Nyanmi forms an dark ball from it's mouth and shoots towards Elifin.

"Elifin, dodge it!" Serena yells. Elifin jumps out of the way and gets ready for another attack.

The battle lasted for about two hours or more and now it ended all to this...

Akiza's last pokemon was her Aquamarino while Serena's last pokemon was Corsola.

Both Pokemon were weak from their attacks and now one more will determine the victor....

"Corsola, use Rock blast!" Serena yells. "Aquamarino, use Aqua Tail!" Akiza yelled.

Corsola forms small white glowing rocks around it and gets ready to attack. Aquamarino forms a spiral form of water on it's tail.

The two pokemon go towards eachother and it's an bright watery collision.

The light faded and showed the winner...

Corsola was knocked out cold. 

"Corsola is unable to battle, the winner is Akiza!" the green haired boy says.

Akiza screams and jumps up in the air along with Aquamarino who's also excited.

Serena smiles and puts her pokemon back in it's pokeball. "Good job Corsola, you can rest now" she tells her pokemon.

Then she walks towards Akiza with a grin and puts something in her hand. "Here's the Wave Badge, you earned it" she tells her.

"Oh yeah! I got the Wave Badge!" Akiza yells. "Aqua!" Aquamarino says happily. 

So Kaguya, Travis, and Akiza head out the gym and say goodbye to Serena. 

Now they'll head to the next town and Akiza has something else on her mind besides gym battles.

Wonder what will happen next?

~The Rocket Twin's POV~

"Tell me why we're in this Magikarp tin can again?" Jamie asks as they paddled.

"Because...we're trying to find that Akiza girl and finally get a promotion" Jason replied. Meowzie looks through the telescope of their Magikarp sub.

"Hey!" Meowzie says. "What?!" the Twins asks. 

"I see the twerp and her friends heading out of the city!" she tells them. The twins blinked in shock and started going through a map. 

"Where do you go from here?" Jamie asks trying to take the map away from her brother. 

"Quit Jamie!" Jason says in annoyance as he backs his sister off "I'm trying!".

Meowzie takes the map and looks at it. "They're going this way...so from Castalia City...they're heading to Fae Gardens" she tells them.

Then the twins get a fury swipe from her. "Oww! My beautiful face!" Jamie cries. "Why did you do that for?!" Jason asks angrily.

"Because you two are acting like dumbos, come on let's get moving!" Meowzie growls.

The twins sigh and continue paddling. 

An fisherman from a distance sees the giant Magikarp as it's going out of the pier.

"I think I stay in the sun too much" He thinks out loud.
