Pokemon: New Beginnings

Chapter 2:

~Episode 2: Akiza Catches a Pokemon!~

So I was walking and looked around at my surroundings. It seemed to be a town and a small town back home. Everyone was really friendly and cool too!

But I wish I knew the way to the Professor's lab....

"Hey there!" I heard someone yell. I turn around to see a woman around her early twenties. She had long white hair that is put up in a ponytail, violet eyes, and was wearing a short dress with one long sleeve on her left arm. 

It was pink and it also has a train on the bottom half of the dress and it is white. She was wearing a really pretty necklace that had a gold chain with a diamond in the middle and a emerald ring.

 "You seem lost?" she asked. I nodded and she smiled. "I will show you where you need to go...where exactly are you going anyway?".

I smiled and said "I'm heading to the Professor's lab!". She nodded and showed me the way. "My name is Akiza Ketchum by the way!" I told her.

"Nice to meet you...I'm Jewel" Jewel said happily. So we finally got to the professor's lab. It was silent for a while. Then we heard a explosion...I almost fell over!

Anyway...a woman with short curly black hair, dark blue eyes, and pale skinned. She wore black square trimmed glasses and had a long white coat on. "Professor Seely!" Jewel said. 

Professor Seely looked at her and smiled. "Aah! Jewel! I see you have a visitor?" she replied. Jewel nodded and so we walked towards a room where three pokeballs are kept. "So a trainer...well come pick one of the pokemon!" Professor Seely said with a smile.

I nodded and pick up each pokeball and threw them up in the air where a red beam of light came. It revealed three pokemon.

One looked similar to Oshawott except for the tail and two gems one on it's tail the other on it's head. "Aquamarino, a Water-type!" Professor Seely says. 

Another one looked liked a bud with a light green color and has two flowers hanging down around it's head. "That is Lilibud, a Grass-type!".

And the last one looked liked a puppy but it had a firey tail and had colors of red, orange, and yellow. It also had floppy ears. "That's Firopup, a Fire-type!".

I looked at all three pokemon...they were all so cute but which one should I choose?!

"Hey Aquarmarino! I choose you!" I said happily and then the little pokemon danced with glee and jumped into my arms. I giggled as it licked me.

"Now here is your pokedex" Professor Seely told me as she handed me a pinkish red device, the pokedex. "It will help you obtain information about different pokemon".

I took it and then I took the five pokeballs she gave me including Aquamarino's. "Aren't you going to put your Pichu in a pokeball too?" Jewel asked me.

I shook my head as I put Aquamarino in it's pokeball. "No...I tried but it prefers to be out of it's pokeball just like my dad's Pikachu" I replied. 

Then after I said my goodbyes, I headed out to the forest out of the town which I learned was called Jinka Town. ChuChu looked around and then says "Pi! Pichu!". I blinked and walked towards a sign. 

It said: Welcome to the Skyia Forest! Please do not harm the wildife there or it will be punishable if caught!

"Well ChuChu...don't worry we won't hurt anything I'm sure" I told ChuChu hopefully to calm him down. Then as we walk in the forest...it was so beautiful!

All kinds of pokemon I've never seen before is here! They seem friendly but a little scared too...I wonder why?

I sit down near a tree and put down my backpack. I slowly close my eyes...but were quickly opened when I heard something rattling in the bushes. "h-Hello?" I squeaked.

Then I noticed something pink and fluffy in my backpack! "Hey!" I yelled and the pokemon poked it's head out. It looked liked a cat with a white streak in it's fur on it's head and it's little paws.

It also had pretty bright blue eyes. The cat pokemon started to run off...with my backpack! 

So I ran after it and eventually the pokemon stopped at in a clearing. I reach for my pokedex in my pocket and point at it.

Pokedex: "Nyanmi, the evolution kitten pokemon, is able to adapt and gain abilties of many evolved forms".

"Cool! It's almost like a Eevee!" I said but not so loud. I put my cap ,which my dad gave me when he used to wear it, backwards and smirked. "Come on ChuChu let's catch it!".

ChChu smirked as well and we ran out where we are now face to face. Nyanmi seemed ready for battle and we did too. 

So I threw my pokeball up in the air and came out Aquamarino. "Aqua!" Aquamarino said. "Alright Aquamarino! Use tackle!" I yelled. 

Aquamarino did as it was told but it missed when Nyanmi jumped out of the way. It used fury swipes and it hit my pokemon!

"Okay...Aquamarino use watergun!" I yelled and this time it hit Nyanmi! It took a while but...Aquamarino got knocked out and then it was ChuChu's turn.

I put Aquamarino in it's pokeball "You did great...just rest for now" I told my pokemon. Then I looked at ChuChu and nodded.

"Alright ChuChu! Use thunder shock!" I yelled. ChuChu's body sparks then sends a bolt of yellow electricity at Nyanmi and after the tackle, Nyanmi got knocked out.

I throw a pokeball at the pokemon. It hits Nyanmi and goes inside the pokeball. I wait to see if it'll stay in, closed my eyes, and crossed my fingers thinking to myself Please be captured...please be captured.

 I hear a beep and open one eye to see the red spot fade. I jump up in glee and yelled from the top of my lungs "I got my first pokemon! A Nyanmi!". ChuChu danced a cute little dance.

Then I grab my backpack looking around....

And there's a big problem...

I'm really lost?!
