Pokemon: New Beginnings

Prologue:

Ash walked back his home in Pallet Town in the Kanto region. He had a long day taking care of all kinds of trainers and challengers...he was the champion after all.

He finally gets to his house and noticed that the lights were on. He goes inside to see his mother, Delia Ketchum, was cleaning along with her Mr.Mime. "Oh! Ash you're home!" Delia said happily. 

Ash walked up to her and hugged her tight...which she returned. "So...how was it? Were the trainer's you battled tough?" she asked. Ash smirked and put his hand behind his head.

"Yeah they were tougher than last time...but to be honest...none of them fight like they work with their pokemon anymore" Ash told her. She nodded and smiled. "What?" he asked with a confused expression.

Delia giggled and replied "You are...just like your father Ash...he had the same beliefs about pokemon and people...I miss him so much". She puts her hand through Ash's ever spiky messy black hair. 

Ash missed his father a lot too. He rememberd him of what he could of course...he was 5-years-old when his father left. His mom told him that his father had some things he had to finish and would be too dangerous to bring his family with him...so he left to keep them safe.

"Don't worry mom...You'll have a grandkid pretty soon" Ash said with a grin. Delia smiled and giggled. "I know and I'm so excited! My little grandchild!" she replied happily.

"Where's May?" Ash asked. Delia got up and Ash followed suit. They got to the nursey that they made along with family, friends, and pokemon. It was a good day and everyone helped even though it was a huge mess in there.

Now it was fixed up and looks wonderful. Delia opened the door to find May asleep on the rocking chair. Her Skitty which is now a Delcatty was sleeping beside her on the rug. Ash smiled and walked towards his wife.

He kissed her cheek. May yawned and slowly opened her eyes. "Was I asleep? For how long?" May asked sleepily.

Ash shook his head "Not long I think" he replied. May rubbed her eyes and went into tears "Ash honey! You're home!" she cried. Then hugs Ash and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Little too tight!" Ash choked. May lets go and laughs. Ash couldn't help but laugh too. "May...will I be a good father?" he asked.

May looked at him with a concerned and curious look. "Ash...of course you will be a good father...after all you've been helping around the house and your mom has been nothing but nice to me and soon we'll be parents..." she told him.

"But how do you kn-" but he was cut off by when May kissed him. She smiled at him and said "Because I can feel it...that will you be".

Delia looked at them and smiled. She wiped her tears and slowly closed the door to let the two talk alone. She sat down on the couch and her Mr.Mime sat down with her. The pokemon's eyes filled with concern.

"It's alright Mimey...I'm so happy Ash will have a family of his own soon...and I'll still be part of it" Delia told Mimey, her Mr.Mime. They heard something at the window. Delia giggled as she opened the window.

Pikachu jumped in. "Pika!" Pikachu said happily as it jumped in Delia's arms. "Oh! Pikachu! You must of went to get berries right?" Delia asked.

Pikachu nodded and cuddled on her. Delia hugged the cute Electric Mouse pokemon and went back to the living room to play a game with the two pokemon, Ash, and May.

 I can't for that day to come... Delia thought to herself.
