Pokemon: New Beginnings

Chapter 1:

~Episode 1: A Journey Awaits!~

~10 Years Later~

A girl with spiky messy black hair and tan skinned was sleeping in her bed. She twisted and turned as she snoring away. 

Then her Poliwhirl alarm clock went off. She screamed "Aaah!" and jumped out of bed. She groaned as she climbed by her the support of the end table. Then as the last "Poliwhi-" came out, she hits the alarm clock.

Then she sits on her bed. She rubbed her eyes then looked at the alarm clock. What time is it? the girl thought to herself. Then her eyes went wide "6:00 am?! I'm late?!" she yelled. 

She quickly sat up and went as fast as she could to get ready.

Hi! My name is Akiza Ketchum! Daughter of Ash and May Ketchum. 

I have spiky messy black hair, sapphire blue eyes, tan skinned, and zig zag lines on my face. So I mostly look like my dad except for my eyes which I got from my mom.

 And today is a really special day! 

Now that I'm 10 and I can finally gain my trainer's license! 

So after I get my clothes on and get my light green and dark blue backpack. I run downstairs to see my parents and my little brother Mickey. 

"Hey our little Charizard!" My dad said. My mom rolled her eyes and smiled at me. I run up and hug them.  "Hi Mom! Hi Dad!" I replied. They return the hug and then I ruffle my little bro's brown hair. 

He pouted at me and I couldn't help but laugh since he looks like a Patrat when he does that. So I eat breakfast with them which will be one last meal with them till I return home. 

Dad says that he went on his journey at my age like his friends did. Well some of them are older or younger or at the same age as dad was but he told me about his awesome adventures while my mom told me on her journey as a coordinator.

After breakfast, we all head out to Professor Oak's lab. Which is now Gary Oak, the grandson of Professor Oak who retired when I was around 4-years-old. 

He was nice but dad said that they were rivals back then. Which is funny because Professor Oak's son, Dawson Oak, is my rival since we first met eachother.

"Hey Aki-girl!" I heard someone yell. I felt my eye twitch of the familiar and annoying voice. It was Dawson Oak!

He had spiky orange hair, dark viridian eyes, and pale skinned. Behind him were his group of fan girls cheering him on. "Hi Daw!" I said trying not to sound rude. 

"Today is the day...where we get our first pokemon huh?" He asked. I can't believe it! Finally Mr.Who-thinks-I'm-perfect forgot something!

"Too bad...that you were late!" Dawson told me as he threw his pokeball in the air. I gasped and he noticed. "Better hurry...but then again you were always slow!" he laughed.

He walked away with all his fangirls behind him cheering "Dawson! Dawson! He's our man!". I growled and felt my body twitch. Then I felt a hand on my shoulder and it was my dad. 

He was smiling at me and I smiled back. I'm not going to let my parents down! 

When we got there...there were no more pokeballs?!

"I'm sorry Akiza but everyone else came before you did...and now there are no more left" Professor Oak told me. I felt my eyes sting...I can't believe it?!

My mom hugged me...putting her hand through my hair. Then I heard a little voice and it didn't sound human. I let go of momma and see a Pichu!

"Happy Birthday Akiza!" They all said happily. "But how?" I asked in shock and joy. 

"Well...it was hard but I finally got you a Pichu...I thought it would be better fit for you" Professor Oak said then my dad nudged him "And your father recommended it".

I hugged my dad. I was so happy and this Pichu is mine! My very own pokemon!

"I love it! This the best birthday ever!" I yelled happily. Then I pick up my Pichu...it was so cute!

"I'm going to name you...ChuChu! It's nice to meet you I'm Akiza!" I told the Pichu. 

ChuChu smiled at me...then I saw tiny yellow sparks coming out of it's cheeks. Then the next thing I know I get shocked!

I fall over and everyone else it seemed got shocked too...

"Oh my!" I heard a voice and I looked up to see my grandma! "Granny!" I said happily and got up as ChuChu jumped out of my arms. 

I hugged Grandma and I was so happy she came! "I can't believe you're ten...and going on your own journey! How exciting!" she said happily. 

After long goodbyes, My family and I headed to the airport. I was going on my first journey to a whole new region called Mewna. "Promise to write and remember to pack clean underwear!" Grandma told me. 

I blushed as I heard snickers from the plane. "Okay...I love you Granny!" I told her and hugged her. Then I hug my parents and little brother Mickey "I love you guys!" I told them.

They hugged me as well. "We'll miss you" My dad replied and my mom nodded with a sad smile. Mickey didn't notice much mostly he just ate his chocolate bar. 

I climb inside the plane with my Pichu. Then I sat down near a window and I waved as the plane took off and noticed them waving. Dawson waved at his parents and then I noticed something.

"Are you crying?" I asked with a snicker. Dawson blinked and looked at me with a glare. "No way! Dawson Oak never cries!" he told me.

I looked out the window and saw the sky that was a pretty blue and clouds that looked so fluffy.

Then I noticed how ChuChu looked frightened and I touch him. He looked at me like I done something but I look through my bag and found some berries. I give it to ChuChu...he was hestitant at first but he ate it.

I giggled. Then a voice from the monitor came out and said "Alright all passengers we are under the Mewna region please put on your seatbelts for lift off".

 We did as were told and waited till we landed. When we landed I took off my seatbelt and took off ChuChu's seatbelt as well.

Then I grab everything I took with me and headed out to the stairs. Then I yelled "Hey Mewna Region! Akiza from Pallet Town is finally here!". 

ChuChu jumped on my shoulders and said "Pichu!". I laughed then blinked when Dawson raised an eye brow and asked "What's with the yelling?!".

He walked down the stairs and now I'm all alone. But I don't care!

It's a new region and a whole new adventure! 

And as I step on the first step and taking one at a time...

My journey will truly begin....
