CHAPTER THIRTY

HARDIK'S POV - 

It was her for sure, she looked in front and saw me and our eyes met. 

She had an equally shocked expression as me. 

I was still dancing with Drishti and luckily her back was facing Minal, I do not want her to know that Minal is here, I dont know how she will react. I need to talk to Minal, I really need to, but I cant let Drishti know about it. 

"I will be back." I said. 

"Kyun itna hi dance aata hain?" she asked. 

"Aaj hi saara dance dekh lena hain kya?" I asked, and moved closer to her. 

"Dekhao, hum bh dekhte hain ki ek dancer ko tum kya dance dikhate ho." she said boldly. 

I thought she will flinch with the closeness and tell me to go. Yeh ladki ajeeb hain yaar. 

"I need to use the loo." I made an excuse. 

"Hmmmm, ab dance dekhane ki baari aayi toh you peed in your pants?" she asked. 

"I said I want to use the loo, I did not say that I peed" I said.

"Ya ya go gorillas ka koi bharosa nahi, kai rok do aur yaha hi kar lo toh? Jao." she said and laughed while I just glared at her, and she stuck her tongue out. 

"Ab jao bhi, warna yahi karne ka plan hain?" she asked and I glared at her and she pushed me out of the dance floor. 

I kept an eye on her and saw that she had gone back to the table where we were sitting. 

I turned and saw her, and all the anger within me bolted up again. 

"Please can we talk?" she asked coming towards me. 

"I am here for that." i said and pulled her towards the corner before anyone else could see, especially Drishti. 

"I am sorry, i love you." she said. 

"After all this you have the audacity to tell that you love me?" I asked furiously. 

"I had to leave for my career." she said.

"Who had said that I wouldnt let you pursue it after marriage and you were doing fine as a lawyer werent you?" I asked. 

"But I got a big offer from Karan and I did not know how you would react to that." she said. 

"What do you mean react to that? You were with me all along only for contacts right? I know it." I said with disgust in my voice.

"I am sorry, I really love you, please come back." she said. 

"Come back" You were theone who left." I said in a mocking tone. 

"I regret it." she said. 

"Why? Because you did not get the film?" I asked. 

"I am sorry Harry, I want to be back." she said. 

"Is this a joke to you? You leave first and then say I want to some back." I mocked. 

"Please let me speak? Let me explain." she pleaded. 

"I dont want to hear anything." I said.

"Please one time, let me tell." she begged me literally. 

"Speak." i said and closed my eyes in frustration. 

"It was after Haldi, I came back to the room and checked my phone and saw a mail from the Dharma office. I was really confused about what to do, they were offering me a contract for a movie with Tiger Shroff, I did not know what to do. Later I thought that this was a once in a life time opportunity and I should not leave it, I had no option, I had to leave." she said.
