CHAPTER THIRTY FIVE

HARDIK'S POV - 

I was practicing in  the nets with Jassi bowling, and looking at the form he is in today, I wont be surprised if I go home with a cracked skull. 

"Jassi mere bhai, thoda aaram se ball phek." I pleaded. 

"Jassi dont listen to him, continue in the same pace, I need a century for him in the next match." Virat said. 

"Arre then you only ball na, you want century from me not Jassi." I said. 

"What do I do?" Jassi asked.

"Teach Virat to bowl to me." I said. 

"I know bowling." Virat said 

"Tell that after I hit your balls for sixes." I said. 

"Move Jassi I have to teach him a lesson." Virat said. 

"Bhai but - " Jassi was going to say but Virat interupted.

"Even you think that I cant bowl?" Virat asked.

"No take the ball bhai, you will do very well." Jassi said. 

"Kya din aa gaye, Virat Kohli is asking juniors for luck as he goes to bowl to the super experienced Hardik Pandya." I said. 

"Oh hello inexperienced all rounder, forgot how many times, I have sent your balls for a six?" Virat asked.

"Yes, the last time I bowled to you in the nets has been good long time." I said. 

"Short term memory loss, now see I will get you out in the first ball itself and you will remeber this for long time." Virat said. 

"He means he wont let you forget that." Rohit said. 

"What are you doing here?" Virat asked. 

"I was going to take a sleep break." Ro said. What? Can this guy not think about sleeping for once at least. 

"Hatt! Back to the nets now." Virat said and shooed him away as if Ro is a dog. 

"You shooed him away because  you think that I will hit your balls for good long sixes. "I  said. 

"Chal chal phek matt now see." Virat said. 

"Can you guys just start, from the past ten minutes I am here standing for you guys to start so I can resume with my practice as soon as you are done." Jassi said. 

Okay now Jassi is angry just bowl Virat. Even Virat did not utter a single word and went back to take the stance of bowling. 

Wait! Is that Dishi? Am I hallucinating? Let me see properly, that is her only, she is coming down the steps in the stands. What  is she doing here? Isnt she supposed to be at college? I still cant believe its her, how does she even know I am here? Okay who doesnt know that Indian Cricket team practices in Wankhede when in Mumbai, but she doesnt know the ABC of cricket, forget W for Wankhede. Why is she here?

"Out." I heard Virat scream and I looked at him and then back. I just got clean bowled by Virat Kohli. 

"I knew that you are inexperianced but isnt this too much?" Jassi asked. 

"He forgot batting only in the fearing of my death bowling." Virat said. 

"Jassi see there." I said ignoring Virat and pointed towards Dishi.

"Are you hallucinating like me?" I asked him. 

"Do you even know what that means?" he asked. 

"Why do you guys attack my English always?" I whined. 

"Leave that, what are you hallucinating, since you already know what that means." he said and I rolled my eyes.
