𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲 - 𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗷𝗮𝗴𝗼

Chapter 14

"Do you see anything yet, Morro?" Lloyd asked from behind, where he was walking beside Jay. Mentioned boy has had head down low and hadn't said a word since Nya had been taken away from them.

It was very early in the morning, around 2:30AM, and no one had slept since they set off to find the girl. "We're getting closer, but we need to stop and take a break. I think I'm becoming dehydrated." Morro replies, and stopped, looking in the eyes of the other three.

Lloyd nodded, and so did Kai. Jay however, had different emotions. "B-But they have Nya! What if s-shes already hurt?! I need to make sure she's safe!" Jay responded, running off. Lloyd caught up to him and grabbed him by the wrists holding him in place so he didn't rush off again. "I know Jay. We all do. But literally fainting from exhaustion and dehydration isn't going to help saving her. Please, just sleep for at least 30 minutes and then we'll keep looking." He said softly.

The lightning ninja looked reluctant, but agreed to his leader. Lloyd escorted him to a cover of trees and pulled out a few blankets. Jay laid down and Lloyd gave him a blanket. Jay said his thanks and fell asleep immediately. That left Kai, Lloyd and Morro awake. Kai started a mini fire to keep themselves warm.

"Are any of you hungry? We didn't bring much food but I can ration some." Morro asked. Kai and Lloyd looked at each other, before nodding and asking for some. The duo thanked him before eating. They put some food beside Jay, before going to sleep themselves.

"Is anyone there?" Pixal asks, standing up. "Please, whoever it is, show yourself, we're here to help you." The female robots' voice was soft, as she travelled around the dark cell. Since her or Zane's eternal lights weren't working, they had it rely on their own vision to see what was going on, and they don't think Cole, Seliel's, or Skylor's would have lights in their eyes.

"Wait! I think I spot something!" Seliel said, rushing over to the far end of the big cell. The others quickly rushed over. Someone else was there, in another cell. They had short enough black hair, a small body and skinny frame, and a white dress on. Tears were trickling down her pale face and her hands were chained up behind her. Cuts and bruises littered everywhere through her body, with dried blood pooled around them that looked like it been there for almost months. They gasped, it wasn't..? No..

"Y-You're not supposed to b-be here.." The woman said. The pink haired girl tried to reach through the cells to clutch her hand, but she shuffled away. She looked so scared, and upset. She'd definitely been here for a long time.

"Delara?" Zane looks at her with worried eyes, and raised an eyebrow at her. She nods, and hides her face away from the team. They all gasped, and looked at each other frantically. "You're his wife, y-you are being held captive here!" Cole confirms. Delara nods again, and looks up into the other cell of concerned faces. "I wouldn't call him my husband. He only married me for wishes. He does that to all of his wives; married them for wishes until they die." She explains.

"Isn't that what happened to Nya?" Skylor asks. Pixal nods at her question, and turns her attention back to Delara. "Nya..that name is oddly familiar, though I don't think I've ever met someone or been friends with someone called that before." She had a confused look on her face, muttering the name over and over - but no memory of it showed. (HOW I LOVE FORESHADOWING)

"However, I was the first human he married. He prepositioned it to his father years back and he disagreed. So, Nadakhan went back to ninjago, and married me. Someone must have found the tea pot from where he came from, and wished him back into it. And his father took that chance to take me away, because he knew his son would be back soon." She let out a shaky breath and fumbled with the chains slightly. "So, his father used the realm crystal and took me away. He first used me as a slave, but after a few years he-"

"I'm sorry, YEARS!?" Cole interrupts Delara, being shocked at what he just heard. Delara nods, and the earth ninja let her continue. "Yes, years. I've been her for around 7 years. After 3 years of being his slave, I was thrown to his wife, who had turned me into a plastic 'thing'. For about 2 years. But, his wife died, and it was just him left." The other surfe her silently to carry on with her story, with sad looks on their faces. "I actually escaped for about 10 months, hiding away in an old cave with two other prisoners. But, he caught us. He slaughtered the two right in front of my eyes, while I ran for my life. He gave up on finding me for another 10 months, but one day, he found me in another underground hideout. So now, I've been trapped here for around 4 months."

"Woah..I'm so sorry that had happened to you, Delara." Zane said, shocked. The woman mentioned whimpers, and sinks down onto the cold floor. "It's okay. You don't mind staying here at all, do you? I need the company. I haven't really seen another human being for about 2 years." She asks. They nod, and everyone sits down next to her.

"Enough about me, what happened to you all? How come humans from..I'm sorry, what is it called again? I haven't been in so long."

"Ninjago."

"Ah, yes. Ninjago. I miss that place. Well, how come you have come from Ninjago?"

Skylor sighs. "Well, it's really hard to explain. We've been told by these two people. Nya and Jay." The same name that Delara had tried to remember had been mentioned again. "I swear I have heard that name..I'm sorry, carry on."

"Well, there's an alternate timeline where your quote and quote husband comes back, and sees Nya. You see, she's a similar ethnicity to you. Japanese and Korean, right?" The red head explains. Cole nods. "Well, I am Japanese, and I also have a little Korean and Malaysian blood in me. What has that got to do with this?"

"You see, he thought that Nya was you. And since he needed his wishes back, she wanted to get married to Nya. However, he'd need us out first. Kai was the first one to go. He was trapped in the sword of souls-"

"Wait, the Sword of Souls?" Delara asks, head jolting up. Cole nods, and looks at her quizzically. "Is that we're you all were teleported from?" They nod. "Oh..I remember him talking about it to me."

"Anyway, it was Kai first, then Zane. We had to go to a tiger widow island to get a tiger widow, something that can kill a human, but suck a power out of djinn. We went on a boat, and a storm came. Zane couldn't be put in the rain, so he went down alone. And that was a bad idea. Long story out short, Jay gets captured on the misfortunes keep and Nya, Lloyd and I save him, but we get sucked into the sword too. However, Nya didn't. Because that's who he wanted to marry."

"Did he ever get Nya..?" Delara asked. Seliel nodded. "They did, and Jay had to save them. He went into the Sword of Souls to get me, Zane, Kai, Lloyd, Sensei Wu, and Misako. We were too late, and he had infinite wishes. Trying to hit him by the widow wasn't easy..and didn't just hit him."

"I'm implying that those others are your friends in Ninjago, and Nya got hit, yes?"

"Yes, but Jay wished that Nya had taken his hand, and no one ever found the teapot in the first place. It's an alternate timeline, and only Jay, Nya and Nadakhan remember it."

"Wow.." Was all the woman could say. "Are you all okay? It seems like you're very hurt and concerned, could I help?" They smiled at her lightly.

"We're just glad we've found you."
