Yoongi grumbled as he watched you walk away with Taehyung and Jungkook. The others all looked at him, wary. Vampires were known for being dangerous and it was true.
Hoseok cleared his throat, breaking the awkward silence and gently grabbed the vampire's hand. "We'll just be going now. Remember to report back if you find it." He shot one last glance at Namjoon and Jin, feeling worried for the siren. But he had his voice.
Jimin nodded at the dragon and sent him a smile, which Hoseok returned. Then he and Yoongi walked outside. The sun was shining and Hoseok sighed in content. He loved sunny weather, it always managed to uplift his spirits. Yoongi shyly glanced at the dragon, watching as he smiled in the sun.
His face glowed and his green eyes sparkled even more in the extra light. He turned to meet Yoongi's eyes and the vampire quickly looked away, feeling embarrassed that he was caught staring. "Where do you think we should start?" Hoseok asked, leading Yoongi in the opposite direction that you, Taehyung and Jungkook went.
Yoongi glanced down, realising their hands were still intertwined, but he didn't make any move to pull away, enjoying the feeling. "Maybe a forest or something?" Yoongi said, pondering the idea. Where would you hide a portal that leads to a different world? Hoseok nodded and hummed a tune as they walked through town.
It seemed livelier today, people out enjoying the weather as it previously had been quite cold. The dragon preferred warmer weather, as he tended to get cold quite easily, though it didn't really bother Yoongi. He couldn't feel it either way.
As the pair kept walking, more trees appeared and the area became more green and full of flora. Hoseok admired the flowers, thinking of you as he picked a couple, making a flower crown.
"Stop wasting time," Yoongi said, peering through the trees.
Hoseok chuckled and placed the bright flower crown on the broody vampire's head. The pinks, yellows and greens contrasting against the darkness of his hair. Yoongi pouted slightly, causing Hoseok to just laugh harder. "You look so cute!" Yoongi rolled his eyes, but couldn't hide the smile that appeared on his face. He kept the crown on and wandered deeper into the tree line.
After what felt like hours of searching, Hoseok flopped against a tree, his hair falling on his forehead as he huffed out a breath. They had been searching for ages and there was no sign of a magical portal. "I don't think it's here," Yoongi sighed, sitting next to the dragon.
There was a comfortable silence, until Yoongi inhaled sharply. "Can I tell you something?"
"Of course," Hobi said, nodding. He turned to face the vampire.
