I followed the railroad until I finally reached the next town. I didn't know what town I was in, but it was a lively little town. I looked around with wonder as I watched the little kids run around and play, their smiles wide on their faces. I watched as adults conversed and shopped through the market. But one figure stood out from the rest. It was a girl. She looked about my age with short purple hair and blue eyes. Her eyes looked around the town with an apparent sorrow in them. So I walked up to her. "Are you lost or something?" I asked and she nodded. "K-kinda. Well, I can't find my brother anywhere. I gotta find him!." I grinned at her. "C'mon let's go find your brother." I told her, grabbing her hand and walking through the crowd. "What's your brothers name? And what does he look like?" I questioned. "His name is Ashton and he looks exactly like me but with bright red hair. I mean like fire truck red." She explained. I nodded and continued to search for the missing boy. "What's your name?" I asked her, while looking. "My name is Ashley. What about you?" She questioned, her voice muffled from her not facing my direction. "I'm Melody." I told her, before spotting a bright red head. "Ashton!" I shouted, running towards him, pulling Ashley with me. "Do I know you?" He asked as I ran up to him. "No, but she knows you!" I proudly stated as I pushed Ashley in front of me. "Ashley!" "Ashton!" They shout at the same time, hugging each other. I smiled and began to walk away. "Wait! Girl!" Ashton yelled, pulling my arm. "Yes?" I asked. "I guess I owe ya for finding my sister, so what about you come over to our house for dinner?" He asked me. I nodded my head as my stomach growled. 'Oh yeah. I just remembered. I haven't eaten in over a month. HOLY CHEESE! I HAVENT EATEN IN OVER A MONTH?!?!' I thought to myself frantically. "C'mon. Dinner should be ready by the time we get home." Ashley said, dragging Ashton and I to their house. When we got there, supper was in fact finished, but there was a note on the table, stating that their mother had an emergency meeting. The twins shrugged it off like it was no big deal, but I suddenly remembered how my mother would have to do that sometimes. But this time, she wasn't going to come back. I wiped away a stray tear that managed to escape from my eye as Ashley set a plate of food in front of me. I immediately began to eat the delicious meal in front of me, while the twins were staring at me with odd expressions. "You look like you haven't eaten in a month!" Ashley shouts out. I chuckle. If only he knew the truth. "Well, as a matter of fact," I said, before pausing to swallow the food in my mouth. "I actually haven't had food for over a month. You see, my parents and brother were kidnapped while I was in a coma for a month. My parents were killed while I was knocked out and I'm actually headed to save my brother now. And I kinda just woke up from the coma this morning, and haven't eaten yet." I say in between mouths full of food.
