Without much more delay, Luna, Rayne, and I ran to the next town to try and find a phone so I could call someone. It was a long time before we even saw the first signs of civilization. "It's going dark in a few minutes. We might as well just sleep here for a few hours before going there." They both nodded. "I'll watch this time. I don't want to be caught again." Luna said, standing up and leaning against one of the trees. Rayne and I nodded and settled down against the tree and drifted off to sleep.

It was completely dark. I turned in a circle, trying to see if I could see anything. Nothing. "Melody." I looked even more frantically for the voice that called my name. "Melody." Where was I? "Melody!" The voice grew more distressed. "Who are you? Where are you? Where am I?" I asked, becoming scared. "Melody." I turned around, finally seeing the owner of the voice. "Ashton!" I yelled, running to him. But it seemed that the more I ran to him, the further he seemed to be. "Help!" I heard a familiar voice from behind me. I turned to see Justin standing with lifeless eyes and blood running from his mouth. Crimson splotches covered his clothes. "Help!" "Melody." Justin's voice cries out just as Ashton calls. "No! Stop!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, falling to my knees. "It's okay." I looked up to see Jace staring down at me with kind eyes. I shook my head before getting up and running away from the three boys. "Help!" "Melody." "It's okay." The voices kept echoing in my head. I screamed loudly as the ground beneath my feet disappeared and I fell.

I sat up in a cold sweat as I looked around. Rayne and Luna both looked over me with worry clear in their eyes. "Are you okay, Alp-I mean, um, Melody?" I shakily nodded and stood up. The sun was high in the sky now. It was about time we set off to the next town. "Ready to get to the town?" I asked, standing up. They stood up also and we started walking to the town. Going into the first store we see, I ask to use a phone and they allow me. "Hello?" The person on the other end answers. Tears welled up in my eyes at the sound of their voice. "Justin." I whisper, clutching the phone tightly.
