Before I start this chapter, I must say that this chapter has NOTHING to do with the actual story. This is just a fun chapter since tomorrow is Christmas. This is a Christmas gift to all my readers!

It was Christmas Eve and all through the house, not a creature was stirring. Not even a mouse. Ha! That's a lie at our house. My best friend, Quinn and I were skipping around the house with two of her friends, Duffy and Phoebe. We were singing Christmas carols at the top of our lungs. Jace and Alan sat on the couch, watching us with amusement in their eyes. Suddenly, the doorbell rang causing me to run as fast as I could to go answer it. And this is why Quinn and I shouldn't make endless candies and sugary items. I opened the door to find the twins, Ashley and Ashton, standing there with wide grins on their faces and presents in their arms. "Guys!" I shout, wrapping them in a hug, careful not to jostle the boxes. We all walked in the house and Ashton sat down with Jace and Alan. Quinn, Duffy, Phoebe, Ashley and I went to the kitchen to hype the calm Ashley up. Soon enough, the five of us were running throughout the house. Somehow, it turned so that Phoebe rode on Duffy's shoulders while the rest of us chased him. "Stop!" Ashton yelled, looking angry. We all looked at him, confused. "Present time." He smirked. We all sighed and I smacked him on the back of the head. "You bozo." I mumbled before sitting on the couch. "I call passing them out!" Quinn yelled, picking up a few gifts and handing them to us. I stopped before opening mine, opting to watch the others open their gifts. Quinn got a book that she's been dying to read, Duffy got a notebook and a pen, Phoebe got a hairbrush and an outfit, Alan got a jacket, Jace got a book, Ashley got a journal with a pen, and Ashton got a hat and some sunglasses. This is amazing, spending Christmas with all of my closest friends. Quinn's friends were pretty cool and we got along really well. Especially Duffy and Phoebe. They're about as weird as Quinn and I! I snapped out of my thoughts to find everyone staring at me. I smiled nervously and began to open my gift. When I opened it, I bounced from where I was sitting. I got my favorite movie and a CD from my favorite band. "Thank you guys so much!" I yelled, forcing everyone into a group hug. "You are so welcome, Mels." Jace said with a chuckle. "Let's eat!" Quinn and I said in unison. We looked at each other and laughed before going to get the food. This was the best Christmas ever!
