It was just an usual day. Wake up to a white cell, sit around for a couple of hours in a white cell, eat soup in a white cell, go to sleep in a white cell. Have I mentioned how much I hate white? And cells? Well, anyway, I thought today was going to be like any other day. Until the little girl from my dreams came knocking at my door. And by knocking at my door, I mean forcing a magically hidden door off of its hinges and into the wall behind me. It revealed the little girl and her older sister, who seemed a little older than me. They both frantically motioned for me to follow them, so I did, not caring if it was an illusion or not. Almost as soon as we got into the main hallway, we encountered a group of Mythicals who stood ready with either their fists raised or weapons ready. Knowing that as we stood, we had no chance, I let the sudden feeling of power take over me. My black hair turned blue and my eyes began to glow. I thrust my arm out and the Mythicals flew back and hit the wall. The three of us continued without further enemy encounters, and for that, I was thankful. Because we bursted out of the doors that led to freedom. The power continued to surge through me and we sped right down the streets at an unnatural speed. "I have to find my friends!" I shouted out to my new companions. We ran to the spot where I had parked the car and we found a note posted on the wall. It said that Justin, Ashley, and Ashton had to go on the run to avoid the person who took Justin the first time. I smiled, knowing that they were safe and turned to the two girls. "Well, I'm off to find my family. I mean, I'm not trying to leave you both behind. If you wanna come, feel free. I just mean that if you have any family that would take care of you, then-" I cut myself off. Months in solitude have really hurt my social skills. The two just smiled and nodded. "We will follow you, Alpha. You saved our lives. And no. We have no family." They said in unison. "Alpha?" I looked at them, confused. The older one nodded. "We're what humans call werewolves. And our pack was killed when we were taken. So we need an alpha." The oldest one told me. "And we chose you." The little one finished. I nodded. "Okay, but don't call me alpha. I'm not an animal of any kind. No offense. Just call me Melody." I smiled at them before turning away and muttered to myself. "Or Luminous. I seem popular by that one too." "I am Luna, Alpha. Erm, I mean Melody." The oldest said, looking unsure of not calling me alpha. "I'm Rayne." The youngest looked at me, her face glowing with a radiant smile.
