"Eleanora! You haven't met your target!" Rufus yelled at the young model who was currently standing on the scales in the very cold room

"Eleanora! You haven't met your target!" Rufus yelled at the young model who was currently standing on the scales in the very cold room.

The girl was currently attending her weekly weigh in. It was demoralising for the girl. All of the other models under his management stood, watched and snickered as the brunette was told off for being two pounds over her target weight.

"I'm only two pounds off, Rufus. Is it really that big of a deal?" The brunette girl rolled her eyes, feeling like she was done with the constant shame and restrictions on her diet. The models who lined up behind her all gasped. In their opinion, she was brave for talking back to Rufus. Nobody ever spoke back to Rufus because he had the power to destroy any one of them.

"Yes, it's a big deal! The skinner you are means more jobs and more jobs means-" Eleanora cut off the middle aged man's rant, having heard it all before.

"More jobs means more money. I get it but not everything is about money." The brunette girl was getting irritated by her manager's selfish views. Why should she have to suffer for a sadistic man to get his pay check?

James Maddison was the person to blame for Eleanora's new behaviour. He had opened her eyes to the world that existed outside modelling. A few slices of pizza every so often wasn't going to destroy the physique that she had worked hard on. A few late nights every so often wasn't going to give her permanent dark under eyes. A little bit of fun wasn't going to ruin her career.

"Are you stupid?" Rufus was exasperated. Who had raised this girl to be so ignorant and clueless about the world that she lived in?

"Money is the foundation of everything. You want to eat? You need money. You want shelter? you need money. You want to continue the life that you're currently living? You're going to need a hell of a lot of money." By now, the middle aged man was right up in Eleanora's face in an attempt to make her feel uncomfortable and have her back down. He didn't know where her new set of balls had come from but he didn't appreciate her questioning all that he knew.

"Screw you, Rufus. I can make it without you." The brunette girl stepped off of the scales, pulling her clothes back on as the models around her started to gossip between themselves. They couldn't believe that someone had finally snapped under him but then again, it was only a matter of time. He treated the group of girls as if they were nothing more than a means for money.

"You can't! You have a contract!" Rufus started to run behind the girl but his dodgy knees stopped him after only a few steps.

"You'll be hearing from my lawyer!" The girl walked out with her middle finger raised at the man who had helped her get to where she was. She was appreciative of how he had helped her but she was not willing to give away her happiness.

Once outside in the fresh air, Eleanora let out a sigh of relief. A massive weight had just been lifted off of her shoulders. She was no longer under Rufus' toxic management. At the same time, she felt panicked about the fact that she no longer had someone to get her jobs but she chose to enjoy her freedom for a few days and think about the longterm affects of her actions later.

The brunette girl sent a quick text to her mum, her brother and her best friend, informing them of what she had just done. All of them had been wanting her to get away from rufus for a long time but the contract was complicated. As the model started to walk away from the outside of the building, she heard rustling in the bushes nearby.

"Holi? Anyone there?" The girl called out, trying to tell herself that it was just paparazzi but she had been receiving some weird messages on Instagram recently. When she didn't receive a response, she tried to shake it off but she still felt like someone was watching her.

Eleanora removed her phone from her pocket and dialled the first contact that she could think of.

"Nora, are you okay?" The voice of James Maddison echoed down the line, sounding confused since they mostly communicated over message and almost never phone call.

"I think someone's following me." She whispered down the line, her Mexican accent becoming thick as a result of her nerves.

"Shit," the footballer cursed as he was in Leicester and there was no possible way for him to get to her and help her.

James was forced to think on his feet since he only had a short break before Brendan Rodgers wanted him back on the pitches.

"Okay, go to a busy place. Make sure you're always in the public eye, do not take any short cuts. I'm going to send you a phone number and when you reach somewhere busy, text the number your location. I'm going to send a good friend to help you." The instructions that James had given to the model were clear and despite Eleanora's nerves towards the situation, she felt better knowing that the footballer was willing to help her.

"Gracias." The pair bid their farewells and as eleanora was about to step out into the busy streets, she was stopped by a man who looked to be in his early thirties.

"Eleanora Rosalie Montesinos." The man had a thick northern accent and the Mexican girl was unable to pinpoint where exactly he was from.

"I've been working myself up for this moment for months." The timeline that the mysterious man had given her confirmed her suspicions. He was a stalker and Eleanora had no idea if he was dangerous or not.
