Eleanora hadn't heard from James in days. Ben had been the one texting her and asking how she was. She had really put on a show at the nightclub the other night and the newspapers were all over it.
Ben Chilwell had been trying to persuade his best friend to text the model that he was so obviously whipped for but James was scared. He had already messed things up with words, he didn't want to make any more damage so he stayed silent, figuring that when Eleanora wanted to talk, she would message him.
The model was currently struggling to find work since her little stunt on her night out had brought along a lot of bad press and Rufus Caswell took that as his opportunity to drag her name even further into the mud.
"Stop stressing, you're the most talked about model at the moment and Hailey Baldwin just got married." Raúl, Eleanora's younger brother, tried to calm his older sister down. He was visiting from Mexico since her split with her management team. He had always been interested in what managers did but he didn't have enough experience to get a proper job as one.
"But it's bad publicity, Raúl. Nobody's going to want me to do shoots for them after this!" Eleanora was beyond stressed. She was tugging at her hair and she could feel a headache coming on. Nothing could fix this for Eleanora, not even the best chamomile tea made by Dolores.
"I wouldn't be so sure about that." The younger brunette started to smirk as he scrolled through his Twitter feed that had his sister's name trending and for all the right reasons.
"What do you mean?" The model had finally stopped pacing and looked at her brother, wondering what he could possibly be smirking at in a serious moment like the one they were currently in.
"Ariana Grande tweeted about you. She thinks that you're a badass." Raúl spoke with a smug tone to his voice. He knew that his older sister was a badass and he was glad that the rest of the world was finally beginning to realise that. She was an independent woman who didn't need anyone or anything to help her. Raúl knew that one way or another, his sister would still be standing where she is today even if she never had Rufus as a manager.
"You're kidding, right?" When her little brother shook his head, Eleanora grabbed his phone and had a look for herself. Sure enough, Ariana Grande had tweeted about Eleanora's speech at the nightclub and had called her a badass. The world was beginning to realise that Eleanora was more than just a pretty face and a model, she was a human being just like everybody else and that meant that she had feelings.
"Hold on," Eleanora handed her brother back his phone as her phone had just buzzed, telling her that she had a notification. She was eager to see what it was and who it was from. Some part of her hoped that it was James wanting to meet up or apologise for what he had said but it wasn't.
"Mira nomas! Ariana Grande wants me to be in her music video for 'Successful'!" The brunette girl squealed excitedly. Ahe had loved the singer for years now and it was a dream come true being on set for a music video.
The girl couldn't wait.
*** "And that's a wrap ladies!" The director ended the shoot for the music video and Eleanora couldn't help the beaming smile from crossing her face.
She had just filmed a music video with a bunch of other inspiring women from various different industries for Ariana Grande.
The stories that some of the women had to tell were so amazing. They were all so brave, each having a different story to tell. Eleanora had really learned a lot from the women that she had met that day and had even sent a few text messages to her best friend telling her all about it. María appreciated all the details that Eleanora was giving her because the girl wished for nothing more than to be there with her best friend but her job didn't allow it.
"Hey sweetie, you did a great job out there." The voice of Ariana Grande spoke from behind Eleanora so she spun round and was greeted by her friendly face.
"Thank you, I'm so honoured that you asked me to join you on this." The Mexican girl spoke, hoping that the superstar singer would be able to understand her accent.
"I'm honoured to have you here!" Ariana gave the girl a quick yet tight hug before continuing their conversation.
"When I saw the video of your speech, I knew that I needed you on the set of 'Successful'. Your words really resonated with me and I'm glad that you spoke up because I wish I did when I felt the way you did." Eleanora was shocked at Ariana's words. She always seemed to be happy and it was only in her latest album that the singer started to open up about her mental health struggles.
"How did you cope?" The model asked timidly. Eleanora was desperate to find her happiness again. It had been taken away from her by Rufus at such a young age.
"Find what or who makes you happy and don't let it get away from you." Ariana gave the girl a soft smile before leaving when she was called on by her manager to check the footage that they had recorded.
Eleanora felt like she had an epiphany. She knew exactly what she had to do to get her happiness back.
