Conner's P.O.V

I gaze at my beautiful and hopefully soon to be wife as she gazes adoringly at her growing bump, chatting long with her parents and friends. I can’t believe that I'm going to be a father, it's a thrill that I can’t deny : I love Jessica so much. I can’t believe I almost let her go, I would have missed out on so much. She's glowing as the bystanders, comment on her growing belly and talk to her stomach. She's three months today and pretty soon were going to find out what were having. I have to admit I was scared when she got pregnant and we weren't married. Thankfully her father didn't kill me.

"Are you sure your going to do this, you don't have too?" Michael (Jessica’s dad) tells me, as he pats my back.

"yes, I love her, why wait?' I smile at her form, and take a glance at her father, smiling approvingly.

"I don't doubt for a second that you don't, I'm glad my daughter got so lucky"

"Thank you" I smile at her and return my gaze back to Jessica. "I'm going to do it now" I take a deep breath.

"Good luck son"

"You think I need luck" I look at him nervously.

"No" he laughs and pushes me forward.

I smile brightly at Jessica and catch her watching me intently with a smile on her face. I wink at her mom and they move a ways away from Jessica, she looks at me puzzled and I just laugh. I go down on my knees and in front of her and rub her tummy. "I love you baby" I whisper to her stomach.

I shift my gaze to Jessica who's looking at me adoringly. "And I love you baby" I smile at her.

"I love you too" she smiles and pecks my lips.

I move away from her and look up at her " and because I love you, I want to marry you" she looks so surprise but yet happy as tears start to form " Jessica will you marry me?" I ask

"Josh?" she whispers and runs across the room to a form, who wraps her in their arms easily .

Anger burns inside of me as I realize who it is. The anger dies as I see her crying, clinging to him and jealously feels me.
