Chapter 11 : Family

'Kibutsuji Kaizen....' Ubuyashiki sighed, feeling guilty of what has he had done in the past.

'After the demon slayers defeated Kibutsuji and dismissed. A kakushi ran to my estate and bowed to me. He told me that he has found an unknown spawn in a basket that was abandoned by someone.
I took a peek of the child in the brown basket by removing the tiny blue blanket that covered the baby.
My hands trembled as I looked his face, it was a demon.
I almost dropped the baby, as I was shocked to see his fangs , white hair and I realized it was Kibutsuji's offspring.
The kakushi was puzzled and asked me if I was okay. Of course, I lied to him. And I started raising him as my own child, naming his name Kaizen, hoping that he will become a good demon, unlike his father.
But I failed and I am so sorry for the trouble.' Ubuyashiki sama broke down into tears as explained his story.

Yoshiteru cried too and hugged his sister tightly who was not enjoying it and tries to struggle out from his arms.

'Does anyone has weird dreams of the past?' He asked feeling cringe about it.

'Yes I do .' said Obanai, 'When I was young I kept dreaming about Mitsuri, before I met her in the modern era.' he laughed as he continued.

'I do too, said Shinobu as she blushed. 'But i can't really remember what happened to the past. My dream keeps mentioning a man in a mismatched haori, but i can't remember who is he...' she covered up her face as she finished talking.

'Ahhh that's LOVE!' chirped Mitsuri's  arms clung to Obanai.

'Please don't embarrass me here, Mitsuri san.' said Shinobu turning to the opposite side of Mitsuri.

THUMP

Suddenly, a loud thump appeared in the area.

'Oh no, they are after Sumihiko.' hissed Obanai as he unsheathe his katana and he rushed to the butterfly estate with Mitsuri holding his hand.

The others followed too, leaving Shinobu, Kanae and Kanata with Ubuyashiki sama in his estate.

'Dear honorable warriors, before Kaizen found me, please take this address, this man will help you after I am gone.' Ubuyashiki sama bowed to them.

'Ubuyashiki sama, you don't have to bow for us.' said Kanae softly as she gets him up slowly.

'I am sorry Ubuyashiki sama, i am about to leave, ' Kanata bowed and turned to the Kocho sisters, 'Please protect him, nee-san, ' he smiled before leaving the door shut.

'Sumihiko!!!!'yelled Yoshiteru as he ran with the others.

'Be quiet please, you don't want to let the enemies know you're here right ?'
Aoba snapped as he was trying to catch up.

Yoshiteru who was concentrating on listening to Aoba's warning ,accidentally bumped into Obanai.

'Watch it kid .' he hissed. Yoshiteru immediately backed up in fear as he looked into Obanai's deadly eyes.

'What an idiot .' said Touko with a disappointed face.' Why are you guys in our family like this? She complained when something is falling from the sky.

Yoshiteru dragged his sister's hand, avoided the attack by a creature that is standing in front of them. It's a gigantic demon. It has a dragon head but attached to a snake's body.

'It seems like the new era demons wont be affected by Wisteria Flowers!' He hissed as he brought Mitsuri to a safer place.

It slithered towards the Agatsuma siblings with amazing speed. It hissed and opened it's mouth wide, preparing to chew them up with its dragon teeth.
