Chapter 23: Demon

Blood dripping on the ground and gasping sound could be heard everywhere in the alley.

Kaigaku laughed as he saw someone familiar, someone that he recognizes.

'You....boy, you looked familiar.'

'Who are you again.'

The boy didn't answer.

'Mind taking your sword out from my body?' Kaigaku pointed the sword which impaled him on the guts.

'Nope...'

A slash came down from above, Kaigaku's blocked it as he grabbed his katana from his back. The katana clashed to each other as Obanai pushed more force onto the blade making it to get close to Kaigaku's neck.

But Kaigaku's strength is way more powerful, which cause Obanai fall onto the ground.

'Obanai San!' worried Kanata as he walked towards him.

'You're grounded....' He grunted, pointing at him while he slowly stood up.

Akuma who was hiding in the dark jumped into the scene, trying to pounce on Obanai.

A gunshot was fired and shot Akuma on the eye, making it to lose balance and fall onto the ground.

'Genya San!' exclaimed Sumihiko who was smiling while fighting Kaigaku.
'Glad that you have reincarnated!'

'Huh?' Genya space out at the moment, didn't get what was Sumihiko talking about.

'Behind you!' Obanai yelled as he rushed to block the attack from Akuma.

'He will be here in any second !' Kaigaku smiled as he swung his sword swiftly, trying to wound his opponent

Sumihiko gritted his teeth as he pushed Kaigaku away and turned to the others.

'Guys, we have to retreat!'he said in terror.

'Don't tell me....' Obanai murmured as he is still fighting Akuma along with Genya.

'What's for the rush? I didn't say you guys are not welcome.'

A familiar voice, gave the gang chills.

A man in a suit with a white hat which covered his eyes.

'Kibutsuji Kaizen?' gasped Kanata as he looked up on to the roof to see that man.

' No, he is not...! ' grunted Sumihiko as he dodged an attack from Kaigaku who was smiling creepily. 'It's Muzan, he is back...'

'What? Why didn't you tell us ?' Obanai scolded as he swung his blade making a scratch on Akuma's skin.

Muzan jumped down from the building and glare at the two demons with his red crimson eyes. They both stopped and walked to his side.

'We will have a deal...' Muzan smiled which made the gang feel disgusted and angry.

'You give me that red hair boy. You lives will be spared and I will turn you into an immortal. '

The alley went silence until a person
voiced up.

'Take me... but you must promised me you won't bother or hurt them ever again and I want my dad back!'
Sumihiko kept his sword, showing that he agreed with Muzan's deal.

'Deal...'said Muzan.

'No!' Kanata snapped as he stood in front of his younger brother.

'Kanata! What are you doing?' Sumihiko yelled?

' No, I can't lose you. ' he grabbed Sumihiko's hoodie, not letting it go.

'Let go....' Sumihiko pat his brother's shoulder. 'Please...'
