Chapter 6: A New Discovery

It was 10.p.m. The teenagers are about to go to bed.

'Well, tomorrow is a Saturday, Where should we go?' Touko asked as she tucked into her sleeping bag.

'Don't tell me that you have planned to go to the mall tomorrow...' Yoshiteru moaned.

'Nope, I was wondering if we could go to an amusement park tomorrow...' she suggested, holding up a magazine about traveling.

'That sounds cool, 'Kanata replied. 'If only Sumihiko won't oversleep ' he chuckled, looking at his brother.

'Hey, that's not nice to say, ' cried Sumihiko.

'Alright, guys, time for bed , ' Yoshiteru tucked into his yellow sleeping bag and closed his eyes.

Everyone fell asleep after a few minutes, Yoshiteru got up, he unzips his sleeping bag and quietly tiptoes to his bag to grabs a rope from it. He ties up Sumihiko, preventing him to sleepwalk and waste his energy.

'What are you doing, Yoshi?'

'What the -' Yoshiteru looks up on the upper bunk bed. Kanata is wide awake, staring at him.

'What with the rope, Yoshi' he climbs down the bunk bed and grabbed Yoshiteru's wrist, staring at him emotionlessly.

Yoshiteru took a deep breath,'It looks like I have to let the cat out of the bag...' he sighed after he finished his sentence.

He told Kanata the incident that happened last night.

Kanata didn't believe it at first until Sumihiko woke up, and tries to free himself.

'Ahh, what should we dooo!!!'

Yoshiteru freaked out and didn't know what to do.

'Calm down, Yoshiteru, it's not like he will jump out from the window or something.

Kanata calmed Yoshiteru down by patting his back.

Suddenly Sumihiko broke free and he walked out ignoring the two boys on the floor.

'Odd..' Kanata murmured.

The boys followed him from the stairs to the living room.

Sumihiko has done the same action as the previous night.

The boys have no choice but to follow him.
Yoshiteru took his bag that was full of his Grandfather's stuff before he walked out.

In the lab

'Okay everyone you can go home now ' said Aoba as he yawned.

The staff were happy and started to pack and left the lab. Leaving only Tomura and Aoba.

'Today's research is tiring 'groaned Tomura, stretching his body on his favorite chair.
'You're right, it is exhausting' Aoba agreed as he gave him a cup of coffee.

'I know what you are thinking....Aoba ' Tomura gives a smile to his friend.

'Yup, spending the night here, as usual. ' Aoba chuckled.' I want to find the chemical that can make our precious blue spider lilies last longer without any electronics, or you can say machines.

'I can't believe Yuugo was the culprit', Aoba felt sad and started to gripped his fist tightly. Tomura noticed it but ignored it.

'He was a nice person, there is no way he will do that. 'he continued, feeling disappointed.

'Chill, Aoba, you can't change the past, like you can't really save anyone you like' Tomura pulled out his cigarette from his mouth and put in the ashtray that was placed in front of him.
