Chapter 24: Disappearance

Touko who woke up in the middle of the night looks around and found out that the all the males except Yoshiteru were not in the room.

'Yoshi! Yoshi!!!!!'

She shook her brother, who was sleeping in his sleeping bag, violently.

'What's going on, Sis. It's 1 a.m.!' He grunted as he rubbed his two sleepy eyes.

'I got a bad dream and I was about to find Kanata but I can't find him...' she whispered.

'Wait...what...Kanata and the boys left? Even Obanai San???!' Yoshiteru's eyes went wide, staring at Touko in shock.

'Stop staring at me like that, it's weird, Yoshi!' she complained as she pushed his face away.

'But Mitsuri San, Aoba and our aunt are still here...' Yoshiteru muttered as his face was pushed to another side.

'It's kinda weird though....' he continued as he looked at the sleeping Mitsuri.

'I am going to call Kanata....'worried Touko as she tries to call him.

'Hello, this is Kanata's voicemail, please leave a message.' Her phone buzzed.

'Kanata, where are you...I am scared, please reply me as soon as possible. ' she whimpered as she'd sent the voicemail.

'Don't worry, I bet Obanai San is with them...' Yoshiteru pats her sister head, comforting her.

'Should we go find them ?' Touko asked as her sniffing continued.

'What?Are you crazy. We are going to get killed!!!' Yoshiteru yelled.

'Shush!!!!It's 1 a.m...' She covered Yoshiteru mouth, giving him a glare.

'Okay...but we are not going anywhere, until Obanai San is back!!!!' He said.

'If you're not going! I am going. 'She yanked his brother's hand away and got up.

'Okay! Fine but what's the plan???' Yoshiteru sighed as he grabbed his backpack.

'Follow his phone location.' Touko smiled, showing his brother her phone.

'Hey, demon....what is your last word before I chop your head off?' The guy asked as he took out a pair of the sword, which attached together with a silver chain.

Kanata didn't say a word, ignoring the guy because he had noticed that his phone which was buzzing in his pocket, showed him a notification.

'Touko....?' He murmured under his breath with exhaustion. He clicked onto it and listen to her message.

'I am not falling for that, demon!' He smirked as his leg stepped on injured Kanata's shoulder.

'Stop! He is my brother!' Sumihiko begged.

'Your brother? A demon ?' The guy looked at him and looked back to Kanata who was on the ground.

'Wait, you looked familiar....'

He mumbled as he took a closer look at Sumihiko.

'Kamado Tanjiro's grandson?'

His blades dropped onto the ground as he was surprised to see him.

'Since you are a flamboyant demon slayer descendant, I won't kill your brother!' He smiled as he took out a white cloth from his pockets and stuffed into Kanata's mouth.

'Thank you...' Sumihiko bowed to him.

'Hhaha no worries, so shall we head back?' He asked as he looked at all the injured people in the alley.
