Chapter 15: Human

'Sanemi San!'

A boy's voice caught the policeman's attention.

The chief turned to the boy who brought his two friends along with him.

'Can we join your investigation please... ?'

A boy with shady black hair asked him taking a step forward.His sapphire eyes  looked into Sanemi's as he pleaded him.

'No, today's mission is too dangerous. ' declined Sanemi, asking them to leave the station.

'But we want to be like you someday....' murmured the boy with peach hair color as his face turned red.

' You know, my patience is running down, kids.'said  Sanemi as he took down his dark blue police cap.

'Take this, and leave, please. ' he continued as he tries to cool down his anger.

'Please... I know the boy with red hair .' the blue-haired boy whispered as he grabbed the cap.

'I know, Zaichi, he lives in your neighborhood. ' said Sanemi, patting his head.

'I am serious, Sanemi San. I know what's going on. ' the boy said innocently. Sanemi shook his head, telling him to leave.

Mrs. Kamado walked towards the kids as she got down from the vehicle.

'Shinazugawa San, just let them followed you.... It is just a little research from the evidence you got from my house, right?' said Mrs. Kamado.

'Fine...' exhaled Sanemi as he stood back up and let the kids follow him into the research lab.

'Here, investigate these.'

Sanemi handed all the evidence to his trusty forensic, Murata who has teamed up with him for 5 years.

'Sure, Sanemi San, ' he smiled as he took all the evidence bags.

Mrs. Kamado and kids who were standing outside of the investigation lab, looking through the room by the window between the wall.

Sami, Genya, and Murata who were in the investigation lab started their research.

'This demon is weird, Sir.' said Murata as he looked into the microscope.

'Are you sure it's a demon, brother. Genya turned to his brother who was about to look into the microscope.

He gasped as his eyes went wide, looking into the ocular lens. Some microorganisms with strange color on them  wiggled around the red blood cells.

' This is disgusting....What the heck was that thing ?' Sanemi stood back from the microscope looking at Murata who wore a confuse expression.

'Sir- I ' he stuttered, sweating coldly as his terrified eyes looked at Sanemi.

'Let me take a look.' said Genya as he stomped to the microscope.

'What is it, Murata.' Sanemi asked him again, walking closer to the horrified forensic.

'The demon you said is human. ' he mumbled, putting his hand on his head as he falls down onto his knees, trembling in fear.

'Get up, Murata.'

Sami ordered as he reaches out his hand.

'What is that worm-liked organism doing in the cells.' asked Genya who has looked into the microscope.

'Parasites.' said Murata.

'So that ain't demons .' Sanemi wondered.

'I assumed that they are demi-humans, mutants. ' Murata stood up and walked towards the table, picking up the reddish horn. 'It is confirmed that there's no sign of Kibutsuji's blood in this monster.'
