Well this is an unexpected turn of events. I turn towards Dom and give him a smile.
"Someone should go talk to him." I point out
"This is my fault, I'm going." Kayla says
"No, you're not, Mia's gonna go and you're gonna stay here with us while you make your decision on weather you go on tour with your family or stay here with your family." Dom explains
"Fine." Kayla huffs
Mia walks into the kitchen and we can hear quiet talking. I look over at Kayla, whose planted herself on Z's lap to think about her decision. Does she stay or does she go? Tears gather in her eyes and I know what the answer is. Kane walks back into the living room and Kayla stands up. The pair hug for a good long minute and then pull away.
"As much as I would love to go on tour with you and mom and Kingsley, I've had too much drama these past few months so I have to pass for now." Kayla tells her dad
"Ok, I trust that you guys can take care of each other and that you Toretto's won't run off." Kane says
"I'm not gonna get these guys into anymore trouble for awhile." Dom smiles
"Good!" Kane exclaims and walks out the door
