Where am I? What's going on? The last thing I remember is an explosion with some weird smoke. I groan and open my eyes, I'm in a car that's going down the highway.
"Nice to see that you're awake." Some girl speaks
"Who are you?" I ask
"Your worst enemy." The girl says
"Where's my family?" I ask
"Looking for you and failing, I already killed your daughter friend Evan." The girl says
My brain pieces everything together, this is Nikita.
"Take me back to my family," I say
"No, your daughter started this and she's gonna need to finish it to save you, or I'll kill you." Nikita speaks
"Tell me what you want, I'll give you whatever you want." I plead
"You can't give me what I want, only Kayla Brown can." Nikita seethes
"What does she have that you want?" I ask
"She took a software that wasn't finished, I want it back so I can shut the whole world down!" Nikita growls
Dom
I look at my family plus Kayla and her cousins with Zane. Once the family group hug is done, I pull Kayla into my arms.
"We're gonna take Nikita down and save your family," I tell her
Kayla nods into my chest.
"What did you do to makes her so mad in the first place?" Carson asks
"I took a flash drive that has the computer software in the works that could shut the whole world down and destroy everything," Kayla responds
"Hey, why don't you sit in the car while I talk to these guys," I tell Kayla
Hesitantly, she pulls away and opens my car door. Once she's in and has the door shut I start talking.
"Ok, we gotta get this whole thing cleared up for the sake of Kayla, she's saved all of our asses more times than I can count so we owe her this, we owe her everything," I speak
"Carson, you're gonna find Kane and bring him back here, Paden, please go get us all some food, Brian, Mia, and Letty, get Kayla some clean clothes and some movies for us to watch, Zane, get us a hotel room, and Jessie, keep tracking Nikta and Kate," I tell everyone their jobs and they get moving
I get in my car with Kayla and find her asleep.
"Hey, we're gonna take the night off from trying to find Nikita," I tell the teenager
"No, we can't, she might kill mom by tomorrow morning," Kayla says semi-awake
"You need sleep, we're gonna go for a drive while everyone gets everything ready," I speak and start the charger
