^^ Nikki's outfit ^^ I don't know how long the truck meet goes on but let's pretend it's three weeks long ok.
Kane
It's the second day of the truck meet, yesterday was basically just everyone getting the finishing details on their trucks for the actually contests to begin. I smile at Kate whose feeding Kings and she smiles back at me.
"So who's Nikki's mother?" Kate asks
"My best friend from high school, Lauren Alaina," I reply
"Ok, so she knows that you've been talking to her daughter?" Kate asks
"Yeah, she does actually." I smile
"Good, has Lauren been talking to her?" Kate questions
"Yeah, she has, but Nikki doesn't know that I'm her dad or that Lauren's her mom," I say
"She needs to know who her real parents are." Kate points out
"I know that and tomorrow she'll know, I promise," I say walking out the hotel door
"The sooner the better," Kate calls just before I shut the door
I turn the corner of the hallway and run into Nikki. Luckily I'm able to catch her before she hits the ground.
"Good morning to you too." Nikki laughs
"You ran into me." I smile
"Sorry, just wanted to get some food before the show started," Nikki tells me
"Well, I was heading the same place so how 'bout we go together," I suggest
Nikki just ducks under my arm and wraps an arm around my waist.
"I'll take that as a yes then," I say looking down at Nikki
Nikki shakes her and we start walking towards the kitchen area place in the hotel.
"I'm guessing your getting pancakes like you always do," I tell Nikki
"You know me so well." Nikki smiles
"So I'm performing a show here tomorrow afternoon and I was wondering if you wanted to come on stage with me," I say
"I would love that," Nikki says bouncing up and down
