She found herself wondering how he coped, considering he always smiled in her presence. So at the time she started missing her mom and finding out the bitter truth, thinking back then her father had been brave. While her— well she didn't react well.
Oh how she adored her father, he never got angry as she threw tantrums at the denial of losing her mother and his loving wife. He never got tired as he held her to his chest whispering promises of her future. He never shed a tear as he hugged tighter. But she knew that every night he mourns. It numbed her senses but still, he held her. Despite being the most broken at the news, he never once did showed her his pain. And so,
Talk less.
Smile more.
