When my mom got a better paying job in Miyagi she wasted no time moving all of our stuff to the new house and enrolling me to my new school.

Karasuno

It was upsetting I just started to settle my first year in my other school now I had to transfer to another in the middle of the semester.

The bell rang signalling everyone that the first class has ended and we had a ten minute break before the next teacher arrives. As per usual I stay seated and clear my desk. My friends asked me if I wanted to get some food with them but I politely declined telling them I'll come with them next time.

"Hi!" a bright bubbly voice cut me off my thoughts. I looked and saw a ginger haired boy with brown eyes smiling at me.

He sits two chairs to my right so I always noticed him especially his orange hair and whenever he would ask a question in class his loud voice would catch everyone's attention.

I froze for a moment before uttering a soft "Hello" in return I watched his smile turn into a full grin.

"What's your name?"

"Ellie" I paused for a moment "Higawara Ellie" he bounced up amd down excitedly "My name's Hinata Shoyo"

"Nice to meet you" I replied with a smile his eyes shined brightly

He started asking me things about why I suddenly transferred to Karasuno in the middle of the semester and what my old school was like. Upon the topic of my name he got really excited about the fact I was half american

"That's so cool!!" he was bouncing up amd down again "Where's she from?"

"New York"

He looked so amazed "America!" he shouted while pointing my direction I laughed softly at his energetic story telling about the volleyball club he was in. Then until the next teacher arrived I had to tell him that because he was so deep into his story he didn't notice our english teacher enter the room

"Oh! " he lightly blushed and stood up

"Don't worry you can continue your story later at lunch" his brown eyes shined brightly again he nodded and smiled at me showing me his teeth

"okay!"
