"It's early in the morning and you're drinking boba again" is the first thing Mei said when I entered the classroom she shook her head in dismay "It's not healthy for you"

my eyes narrowed at her "It's your fault you introduced it to me" she rolled her eyes and stole my drink taking big sip anyways, snatching the drink back I started to finish the drink

"So what do you think about Kageyama?"

"Eh?!" Startled I spilled some milk tea on my chin "Why did Kageyama suddenly become our topic" I muttered, wiping my chin with the handkerchief

"Yeah Hikari why ask about Kageyama hm?"  Raising a brow at a smirking Kei who tauntingly asked that sits in front of me

Mei's eyes widened looking down at her desk blushing "I-"

"It's none of your business" I snapped back "Now wear your goddamn headphones and leave us alone"

He rolled his eyes "Tss" before wearing his headphones

I looked at Mei "Well I think he's great at volleyball"

"Is he your type?" She asked innocently

"No"

"Are you sure?" She pushed

"Yes"

"Really sure?"

"Yes! Now shush!"

It's the afternoon I watch Hinata enter our room followed by Kageyama who's sporting his usual scowl. They approach Kei who's reading a book, I watched them interact for a while trying to listen to their conversation.

"Sensei didn't come to our class so we came here, can you help us study?" I heard Hinata ask

"Didn't we agree to study only before and after volleyball practice?" Kei replied

Did they need help to study?

"Please come back during business hours" Kei sang putting his headphones back on to block people out once again

Both boys glared at the blondie before walking out of the room defeated. I peeked at Mei she was busy again with her sketches so I went out the door to run after them

"Hey wait up!" I stopped in front of Kageyama "Uh where's Hinata?"

"His girlfriend called"

"So do you need help studying?" He started at me with a scowl on his face

"No" he started walking away from me

I walked faster catching up to him "Really? Then why did you go to Kei then?"

"The dumbass told me to come with him"

I try to catch his eyes but he would dodge it "Ahuh" I hummed clearly not buying it "And did he ask you to bring your notebook along too?"

We both stopped walking he turned to face me and again with a glare "Leave me alone"

"But I can help you study" still glaring at me I continued "I heard your team's going to Tokyo for a training camp....it would be a shame if you weren't able to come just because you failed a test huh?" I heard him exhale loudly he stared at me for a few seconds to stop when I started wiggling my brows "Come on just say yes already"

He rolled his eyes at me "Tss...fi-"

"But!" I interrupted pointing a finger at him "In return, I want you to train me....to jump higher"

"No wa-"

Squinting my eyes "Its either that or say bye-bye to Tokyo"

"Fine"

I clapped happily "Great! We can start my training tomorrow and I can help you study later after volleyball practice" clamping my hands together "So that's settled I'll see you later" smiling widely I gave him a wink before skipping happily back to the classroom.

"Where have you been?" Mei interrogated she must have seen my happy expression to bombard me with another question "Richi what did you do now?"

I pouted "Nothing" I sighed dramatically "Why do you always think I did something bad when I'm smiling?"

She pursed her lips "Your expression screams mischief" shaking her head she starts to draw on her sketchoad again

"Eh? I'm just happy"

"Sureee"

"It's true!" I crossed my arms glowering slightly

"Good Afternoon!" I greeted the boys team including the coaches, other than Daichi's approval Takeda Sensei allowed me to join their practice. I entered the gym putting on my volleyball shoes

"Hi Matsu!" I waved at Tanaka and Hinata while I jogged my way to Kei

"You again.. " I heard Kei said in a monotone voice

"I thought our training starts tomorrow?"

Kageyama approched me with a frown, I smirked "Yeah I know, But practicing with the boys is fun and we have a study date later remember?" I winked

His frown deepens "It's not a study date"

"Study session then"

"How annoying" Kei intervened so I smacked his arm hard "ow"

"You guys go ahead bye!" I said while waving at Tadashi and Kei

I stayed outside the gym waiting for Kageyama to come back from their clubroom. I watch him walk down the stairs dressed back in his school uniform. And then headed our way to the towns library.

"Let's go to 8 eleven first" I looked at him questionably

"Why?"

"To buy milk"
