Kageyama 5

"Mei how do you do number 6?" she handed me her notebook filled with her answers for the Chemistry homework I forgot to do "Hehe thanks" I quickly copy the answers before the 5-minute break ends.

"Finally" Closing my notebook I sigh in relief "Kei wanna buy some food with me?" he stood up signaling me that he was willing to accompany me "Mei wanna come?" she shook her head "Want me to buy you something?"

"Yogurt please"  She handed me some change before leaving the room Kei tailing behind me

We passed by Hinata's room and saw he was busy talking to his seatmate so we didn't bother to disturb them. We bought a lot of snacks from the vending machine to the point that my hands were full including the yogurt Mei asked for and headed back to the room. Someone's shoulder bumped into mine making me drop some bags of chips

"Hey!" I whined stomping my foot Kei made a "Tsk" sound before picking up the fallen chips and holding it for me. I look at the culprit who bumped into me "Oh Kageyama hello" he sneered at the both of us before walking passed us.

"Where's your test result?" Half-heartedly he passed me his paper. I looked at the top right part for the score

"Oh no so close!!" I cried in despair starting to flip through the two pages to check all his answers. "If only Sensei gave out a point for the effort you would've passed" I sighed out before giving the test paper back to him "Well you have two days to study for the make up test, let's start later after practice okay?" He nodded and we parted ways to go back to class.

"You can't even reach over the net" Kei insulted while he walked passed me, ignoring his comment I follow him to the court

"I've gotten better watch me" I've been training myself harder with Kageyama's drills and also do them at home.

I started in the back row and everything was running smoothly. I watch Kageyama quickly toss the ball to Hinata in which he spiked directly my way, bumping the ball to Sugawara and Kei did a quick attack which earned us a point

"Nice spike Tsukki!" I heard Tadashi exclaim loudly

"Nice receive Matsu" to my left I heard Nishinoya say.

I smiled and he lifted his hand for a high five "Thank you Nishinoya san" while I slapped my palm against his.

I finally rotated into the front row, I can practice my blocking now.

I call out for the set then slowly making my approach towards the net trying to jump high enough to reach the ball spiking it towards the left corner of the court, they managed to make contact and now making a counter-attack.

Tanaka san made his approach while I watched him jump and I followed putting my hands in the air in front of his dominant hand.

The ball hit my right arm and it dropped back to their side of the court

I did it!

Somehow I lost my footing twisting my right ankle in the process with the sharp pain I felt I made myself fall completely on the ground to prevent putting more pressure on the ankle. Clenching my jaw to prevent to cry out in pain I tried massaging the spot where it hurt.
