Karasuno

Hinata 5

I brought my friend Hara along to the Sendai City Gymnasium, where Interhigh Preliminaries will be held. When I asked her if she wanted to come along she immediately said yes and started babbling about watching this guy named Oikawa Tooru in action.

We checked for the schedule of the Karasuno's first match and saw they are the first match of the day and they'll be playing against Tokonami Highschool.

As we walk through the gymnasium I see more people in different tracksuit colors. We arrived at the bleachers and sat near where the Karasuno banner was hung up. Suddenly Hara stood up excitedly and started squealing "Oikawa san is here!" she faced me grabbed my shoulder and started shaking me "Omg he's going to watch the game?!" she whispered excitedly. I looked over to see who she was getting so excited about, he's tall has brown hair that is swept outwards. I stare him while he gave out flirtatious smiles and winks to the girls that would try to catch his attention. Behind him was the rest of his team I assume, the one beside him though wore an irritated expression while he watched the Oikawa Tooru entertain the girls that started to surround them.

I averted my attention back to the court trying to search for the energetic orange haired boy I came to see.

Finally I see the familiar black and white tracksuit of our school. They went to the court and started to warm up. I stood up from my seat and waved my hands in the air trying to catch his attention.

"Shoyo!" he looked around the gym for a moment then finally we made eye contact, he gave out a big smile before excitedly waving his hands while jumping continuesly.

"Ellie chan you're here!" his greeting made his teammates look in my direction I flinched at their curious stares and slowly sat back down on my seat.

Hara sat down beside me now that the game started. When Shoyo and Kageyama did that amazing fast attack, me along with other people jaws dropped I've seen it once but seeing it again was just mesmerizing. Our part of the bleachers cheered loudly for the team.

"Nice kill Shoyo!" I cheered, as if he heard my voice over the loud cheers of other schools he looked my way gave me a bright smile.

They won their first match

I was so happy watching them play and celebrate their victory, they're going to the second round against Date Tech according to Hara. We went down the bleachers to congratulate the team.

"Ellieeeeee!"  Shoyo can in light speed hugging me almost lifting me up from the ground "We won!" he gave me his starry eyed look again, I laughed and nodded I was released from his hold when someone spoke

"Hinata why don't you introduce to us your friend" I snapped my eyes towards the silver haired boy that made the comment "You're girlfriend's cute Hinata" a guy in a buzz cut chimed in.

"Hinata has a girlfriend?" this time a a guy in a man bun asked as if he couldn't believe what he just said

"I find that hard to believe really" another said being the guy with blonde hair scoffed out Shoyo glared at him but before he could say anything he was cut off by the third year who scolded them before.

"Everyone Shut up!"

I felt really small when everyone started to surround me

"Hi" I greeeted in an unsual high pitched voice, which happens when I'm nervous. The silver haired guy stepped forward first "Sorry about that I'm Sugawara Koshi" he said while reaching out his hand for a handshake. I bowed a slightly while accepting his handshake

"I'm Hagiwara Ellie nice to meet you"

"So are you really his girlfriend?" again the blonde asked

"Tsukki!"

"Oi stop it!"

"Yes she is now leave us alone!" everybody went dead silent and stared at Shoyo shocked by his remark, I too looked at him in disbelief

"We are?" I unconsciously asked, in sudden realization my eyes widened and I slapped my hand over my mouth

"Aren't we?" his head tilted while he looked at me questionably, I didn't know what to say

He didn't even ask me out on a date yet

Suddenly laughter exploded around us, my face started heating up I heard Hara laughing as well, I forgot she was beside me for a second.

"What a dumbass" I heard from what I can tell it was Kageyama

"Yikes"

"Ouch"

"HAHAHA"

I guess Shoyo couldn't handle the embarrassment as much as I did and quickly dragged me away from the crowd I looked back to see Hara waving her hands goodbye at me while the others were still not over their laughing spree.

After dragging me for ten minutes we stopped in front of a small cafe. We went to the counter to order, we quickly fought over who was going to pay but in the end I managed to convince him to split the bill. We sat down and we waited silently

"So about what you said earlier" I started awkwardly I heard him sigh loudly and started to apologize for it

"I'm sorry Ellie chan!" he slapped both of his hands on his cheeks "I've been meaning to ask you for so many times but you always catch me off guard!"

"How so?"

"I don't know! your face is too pretty" he mumbled

It was a good thing the food arrived because I didn't know what to say. I watched him mix his tamago kake gohan happily and started eating quickly while I took my time. After we walked back to the gym 30 minutes before their next game would start. I caught sight of the team and told Shoyo about as i was about to walk towards them Shoyo grabbed my arm to stop me.

"Will you go on a date with me?"

I acted to think putting my pointer finger on my cheek while humming "I'd love to but first you have to win against Date Tech first" his lips turned into a O shape before nodding vigorously

"We will" he looked so confident and determined saying that before bidding goodbye to meet up with his teammates.

Hara suddenly showed up beside me "So he finally asked you out" she stated I nodded in response whike watching him walk away, Hara chuckled while shaking her head "Took him long enough"
