"RACHEL! GET YOUR ASS UP AND GET READY!" Yelled my brother from the bathroom.

Ugh. I had to get up. You'd think at seventeen years of age you'd stop getting bossed around by your older brother. I didn't wanted to get up and off the couch. It wasn't that uncomfortable and I was at a good part in my book. Then again, if I didn't get up, my brother would probably drag me in the bathroom and lock me in if I didn't get up soon. So I did...reluctantly.

I got up and picked out my outfit. I didn't care how I looked, and I didn't plan on caring for awhile, so I picked out something half-decent; Aztec print bikini top with black bottoms, Aztec print water shorts and a black floral lace shirt, plus my hot pink flip-flops. My hair was naturally wavy and a very ordinary brown colour so I just put it up in a bun. Then I got my large purple satchel and packed all my necessities.

This cruise was never my idea. I didn't really care where we went as long as I didn't get hassled, but that didn't turn out well. I was just putting my hot pink sunglasses on my head when my brother stormed in, yet again, and yelled at me.

I sighed, and slung my bag over my shoulder, making sure I had packed my book and towel.

The pool was on the top deck, and my parents were already there. My brother didn't want to take the elevator, so we ended up climbing 8 flights on stairs. By the top I was just asking for someone to kill me.

We found our parents on the top deck (2 more flights of stairs) and we settled down. My parents asked what took us so long, and my brother started brooding over how slow I was at getting ready. I just pulled my sunglasses on, plugged my earbuds in my phone, and pulled out my book.

Hours must've passed when I saw a hand waving I front of me. I thought it was set brother so I looked up at him, anger blazing inside me, but it wasn't him. It was a boy,, and not just any boy. He was gorgeous.

Around 5'11-6 foot. Gorgeous light tan, dark Sandy hair and green hazel eyes. And he had a sixpack! I almost started hyperventilating. What would a hot guy like him want with someone like me?!

I tilted my head down, and pulled my glasses down on my nose to see him better. I flipped my book onto my stomach to keep my page, and pulled out my earbuds. Then I asked, "Yes?"

He smiled (it was quite sexy) and said, "There's no one around, and I was wondering if the chairs beside your were taken" I looked around me. Sure enough, my parents and my brother were gone, as well as their towels.

"Um, yeah, you can take these chairs."

I started getting up and packing my things when he said, "So you're leaving?"

What did he want me to do. "Yeah, I'll give you your space."

He chuckled and said,"You know, you can totally stay. 'Tis no problem."

My jaw dropped. He just said 'tis'! God that's sooooooo cute!!!

"Um...was it something I said?" He asked self-conciously. He raised his arm behind his head and scratch awkwardly. God, I couldn't take this.

"No totally fine. You just said 'tis. I've never heard a guy say that before... Except in books."

He smiled. It was quite gorgeous. I couldn't help but blush. He chuckled softly.

"So you enjoy reading?" He nodded toward the book in my hands.

I nodded, feeling my cheeks still burning

He motioned for me to give him the book. I lifted the book cover towards him, but I didn't want to lose my page.

He smiled and said, "I know this one. It's with that girl that can do some crazy stuff with her mind and then she's hunted down by the government and she finds the guy she 'obvioisly' falls in love with." He made air quotation marks with his fingers.
