Chapter 3: Day II

The next day I got dressed fancier. I was now dressing to impress Jacob. I picked out a lacy mint green bikini top with matching mint green bottoms. I had a sundress that was close to that same shade of green. I wore my hot pink flip flops and my hot pink sunglasses. I put my hair in a bun and poofed up by bangs.

I walked onto the pool deck rather self consciously. I never wear stuff like this. I never care!

I found a spot close to the one from yesterday and settled in. I waited a bit to see if the boys would come. I tried not to get excited when I saw them. They all had their shirts off already. I saw Dan push Tyler around, almost making him fall in the pool. I chuckled to myself.

I kept pretending to read my book, hiding my eyes behind my sunglasses when I saw Jacob walked towards me. He sat down on the end of my lawn chair and I had to prop my feet up a bit to let him fit.

He pretended not to see me and started laying back. His back hit my shins and he pretended to relax, acting as if my legs were the 'chair'. I chuckled softly and he looked up in 'surprise'.

"Hi there, sorry I didn't see you. What's your name again?" He joked.

"Yeah, I think you know my name" I said, smiling.

"Well I might need a refresher,you see I am highly attractive to the whole female species, so it makes it hard to keep track."

"Oooooooooh, well then, it looks like you'll have to figure my name out your self."

"Ok" was all he said. Then he got up and yelled,"Fin! What's this girls name again?" I burst out laughing,when Fin replied,"Bro, it's Rachel, duhhhhhhhhhh."

I was so embarrassed. The whole deck knew who I was now. It wasn't awkward at all...

Then Jacob turned around, grinning, and said, "It's good to see you again, Rachel."

"It's good to see you too, asshole." I said.

"What?! I've been upgraded to asshole? Wonder how that happened." Jacob replied, forst in mock shock, then wiggling his eyebrows.

I just giggled. My gosh, I never giggle either. This is weird...

"Are you doing anything today?" asked Jacob, politely.

"Nah, the usual. Sitting, reading, listening to music. Maybe a dip or two in the pool. I'll see."

"Well, the guys and I are having a competition at the mini golf place. Wanna join?"

I contemplated this for awhile. Then I nodded. Why not?

I got up and put my sundress on when Jacob said, "You know, there's no need to get dressed." and at that I started slapped Jacobs muscled arms. He just laughed and tried to hide his precious face. He could be so inconsiderate.

After I finished my attack, I got my towel and my bag, and made my way to the course. The sun was shining and it was nice and warm. Fin had already gotten me a golf club. Jacob got one too, and we were off.

The teams were; Jacob, me and Fin vs. Tyler, Josh and Nathan.

Dylan and Dan stayed behind to jump in the pool.

I started first. I was nervous. To be honest, I've never played golf before. I want to excited to see how this turned out.

My first one was a hole-in-one. It was pretty simple, but as we advanced the course got harder and harder. By the third one, it took 5 tries to get it in. I couldn't help but laugh at how bad I was. Jacob was somewhat supportive... Somewhat.
